Welcome to Taetin, the perfect world of dreams. If you stumbled here by accident, feel free to look around, just be careful what you touch, some things aren't as friendly as some of the other stuff we got here. If you came here for a purpose, I'll need to notfiy you that we don't have a bathroom here, I've petitioned for one, but they still don't listen...Stupid zebras *mumble, mumble*

Has anyone else noticed that many of the gamers here are philosopher-type people?

I've noticed that too. While it's not a huge amount, it certainly is more than most other sites.

Maybe the games themselves are teaching us more about life itself than many people would think?

So much for games "rotting away our minds", eh? :P

I've always viewed video games as a form of art. You need music, concept sketches and painted backgrounds, as well as a good story line (all good video games should have a story line). This requires a great deal of imagination. I think that helps us to see things through another persons eyes, granted, we can still make individual choices, but we still follow the characters story.
I'm sure, when viewed in that light, you can see how video games can be just as educational as books.
