Since its been so long, i shall repeat this:

That’s enough about them, let’s switch back to the yamis while Bakuri and Pocketim are searching for items…er…whatever it is Bakuri’s looking for.

In the palace of the Shadow Realm, Yami Pocketim and Yami Bakuri walked through a dark corridor. “So…” Yami Pocketim muttered, “Now what?”

Yami Bakuri shrugged. “I dunno.” she said, looking around. “Wow, she’s got a nice place here…”

“Hmm…” Yami Pocketim was obviously plotting something… “Wanna go conquer the world?”

Yami Bakuri’s head jerked a bit at the completely random idea, but an evil grin spread at the thought. “I wouldn’t mind ruling the world…” she replied, “Not a bit…”

“How to start though…” he muttered, thinking for a minute. “I’ve got an idea!”

“What?”

Yami Pocketim grinned. “Ever heard of the 7 Chaos Emeralds?”

“Yeah…” Yami Bakuri muttered, not quite getting what he was getting at. “What about ‘em?”

“To put it simply, they could give us a major advantage.”

Yami Bakuri raised one eyebrow. “Perhaps… but aren’t they in a completely different world though? I mean, my powers can only stretch so far…”

Yami Pocketim was ignoring what she was saying and continued with his Chaos Emerald rant, pacing about the room. “However, we’d also need the Sol Emeralds….Using both emeralds, we could slowly merge the Shadow Realm into the real world…” An evil grin spread across his face. “And once we’ve merged the Shadow Realm into the real world….” His laughter echoed through the passageway until Yami Bakuri covered his mouth with her hand to silence him.

“Or…” she cut in… “there’s an easier way…”

Yami Pocketim cocked his head to one side, as if he were amazed that any plan could be better than his own. “What’s that?”

Yami Bakuri watched a spirit fly past her. “Don’t you think these spirits could take over the world on their own?”

“So…” he mused, “you think we should use THEIR power to control the world?

An evil grin spread across Yami Bakuri’s face. “Yeah…” she said, “We just gotta make them obey me…and since I look like their leader…” her grin got wider at the thought.

Yami Pocketim snickered. “Too easy…heheh…”

“One little issue…” Yami Bakuri said, thinking. “We’ve gotta get rid of the real Bakuri. If she comes back, we’d be in deep trouble…”

Yami Pocketim shrugged. “That’ll be simple. Just take over her mind and make her jump off a cliff or something…”

Yami Bakuri shook her head. “You forget that her powers pretty much match mine. And you have no powers, so YOU’RE not much help.”

Yami Pocketim glared at her for a minute before saying what he was thinking. “Perhaps…” he said, obviously annoyed, “But we have the only advantage Pocketim DID have - his bag.”

“You mean those healing things?”

“Indeed, all he has is a wrench and hammer,” he paused and pulled out a wrench and a hammer, “and I have those as well.”

“I didn’t even know about the hammer…” Yami Bakuri murmured.

“So then, here’s my plan. First, control Pocketim’s mind -”

“er…” Yami Bakuri said nervously, “funny story about that…”

Yami Pocketim ignored her again. “That will be a piece of cake, since he’s the weakest…”

Yami Bakuri smacked him to make him pay attention to her. “You see….mindswitch… easy. Mind CONTROL, on the other hand…..not so much.”

“Well,” Yami Pocketim said, thinking, “just…try and get him on our side.” He shrugged. “That way, it’ll be 3 vs. 1.”

“Well…” Yami Bakuri muttered, thinking, “You know his weaknesses! Help me think of a plan here!”

Yami Pocketim shrugged. “Pretty much everything.” he said. “He’s just a little weakling.”

Yami Bakuri rolled her eyes. “Oh yes, THAT sure does help…”

“In fact, mind control is his greatest fear.”

“Hm…” Yami Bakuri grinned as a thought came to her. “Now that I think about it, these spirits should be able to control people…” she laughed. “Or even…a bluff could scare him to our side?”

Yami Pocketim shrugged again. “All of those ideas should work.” he told her.

“Great.” she said with a snicker. “So, here’s the plan: We’ll try and scare him into it, but if all else fails, we’ve got the spirits. Up for it?”

“Piece of cake.” Yami Pocketim said, laughing.

“The question is…how will we get to him without him calling to his little friend for help?”

“Good question.” Yami Pocketim shrugged once again. “Guess we’ll just have to take our chances.”

“I don’t like that idea…” Yami Bakuri began to pace, thinking.

“How about we just duct tape his mouth?”

She shook her head. “You don’t know that girl’s powers like I do. She’s probably set up a mind link with him, and they’re difficult to break…”

Yami Pocketim thought for a minute. “That would mean we’d have to get rid of Bakuri first….but that’d defeat the purpose of trying to trick Pocketim in the first place…”

Yami Bakuri snapped her fingers as an idea came to her. “I’ve got it! I can block off the mind link for a few minutes!” Her expression faded a bit. “But it’d take ALL of my concentration, so you’d have to take care of him. And you’d have to work fast.”

“I can handle it” he replied.

“You’re SURE you can work fast enough?”

Yami Pocketim smirked. “More than likely, he will be so scared that he’ll do anything we say.”

Yami Bakuri grinned. “Alright. Let’s go then.”

--- meanwhile, in the forest ---

Pocketim walked through the forest, nearing the edge of it. He peeked through the trees at the cliff past them. “Hey! Is that a 1-up mushroom by that cliff?” He ran over to the cliff to see.

Yami Pocketim snickered from his place in the bushes, where he was spying on Pocketim. “He’s just asking for trouble…”

Yami Bakuri looked down from her place in a tree above him. “I’m amazed he’s not afraid of heights, the way you talk about him…”

Yami Pocketim looked up at her. “Shall we attack now?”

Yami Bakuri grinned. “Just let me know when you’re ready.”

TO BE CONTINUED! (ugh, when will this thing end already?! XD)
