My First Journey Into the Land of Hyrule

Authors Note: Repost from an old Myspace blog of mine.
Many years ago when I was still a small kid. I was invited to a friends birthday party. Little did I know, that day would change my life, and fill it with joy, and me having my first crush.
Well, the first part of the party was in their den. We all were having a great time. The birthday boy and some of his other friends thought it would be fun to go play outside. So as we were all heading outside when I saw her for the first time. I stood there for a minute gazing upon her beauty. She wasn't paying any attention to the party but to a game she was playing on the SNES. While the guys went out to have fun outside I stayed behind and approached her.
She turned and smiled and said "hi". I said hi back and asked what she was playing. She told me the game she was playing was "The Legend of Zelda" I was totally amazed that a girl liked playing video games...lol. I stayed there and watched her play for a good while. After a while, she offered me the controller and asked if I would like to try it. Me, never playing a Zelda game ever, right away asked how to play. She explained how to play the game. I listened to every word that came out of her mouth because she had the voice of an angel. We had fun as I played craptacularly.
I was having more fun spending time with her than playing the game. That gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. When it was time for me to go, we said our good byes. I felt sad that I had to leave her side and go home, yet at that time, I developed my first crush.
lol I was so busy having fun talking and spending time with her I had never gotten her name. As days past, I never saw her anymore. It wasn't till like a year or so later that she moved to this town. When I saw her in my class I was happy to see her beautiful face.
Well, as luck would have it, she didn't remember me....we then became somewhat half-ass friends. We would sometimes talk and such. To this day, she doesn't know that I still remember the day I meet her, or that I had a crush on her.
On that one day, I also developed a love. A love for "The Legend of Zelda" I now own a copy of almost every Zelda game that has been made. That one game may be one of the best game I have ever played, but that one moment in my life, I was truly happy.
