Bunched panties
Ok.
So, I get it.
People get upset when they hear about stuff, or when people call them names, but... can we just take a step and look at what we are getting all fired up about.
This is a website.
Sure, it is also a community. However, ultimately from a utilitarian standpoint, this is a site which affords the opportunity for you to find opponents to play video games against. Pure and simple. I am kind of tired of hearing "the staff is corrupt" or "it's too business like"... honestly, I kind of appreciate the fact that this site has a serious side. Of all the Friend Code sites, this one is the easiest to navigate by far, and keeps its nonsense apart from forums and categories that are helpful.
So, let's just drop that issue, already, please, just give it up. It's a better thing, and if you can't see it... well.. I'm sorry. Maybe you prefer going to the library and having all the books strewn across the floor in a disheveled heap, but me personally, I appreciate organization and professionalism. Maybe that makes a person corrupt, but maybe that word is just being misused...
Obviously, I am outside of some giant loop here, apparently not knowing what's going on... however, am tired of seeing blogs detailing the reasons they are tired of this or that regarding NintendoWorlds.
To these people I ask the question.
Let's assume your accusations are true, and the staff or a staff member, or whatever it may be, is in fact corrupt (or satan-spawn or whatever...), did you have fun while a part of this site?
Do you have fun? Have you met friends whose company you appreciated? Does this site facilitate an enjoyable experience?
I answer yes to all those questions.
and this site continues to facilitate an enjoyable experience for me, with my newly networked group of inter-friends
And personally, that's all that matters to me.

this site is by far the easiest to navigate..
as well as the only one, of the dozen,or so, I've been a member on, where it was busy, and entertaining... I'd rather spend 3 hours here, then any other Wii site... |
