Ruone and I are currently seeking 2 people to fill out our 4 player PC co-op team.

We are specifically looking for people who want to play Brick or Lilith. We are taking only people who will play those as it will make a fully rounded team and will help keep "in fighting" down when it comes to who should get/use what type of guns.

Right now play times are flexible but we are looking to make a group that can all find common days and times to play. Once these days and time are figured out we will stick to a strict schedule. We will require people who will miss a time to notify the whole team as far in advance as possible.

If you decide that you may want to join us it is important to know that we will be progressing through the game AS A TEAM. This means that the 1 character you pick to be part of the team will only be used when the whole team is playing together. On nights that the full team can not be assembled we may play other characters together. On these nights there will be no "rules" as to who you can play as long as you do not bring in your team character.

Being able to hear voice chat is absolutely REQUIRED. Being able to talk is not required but is very highly recommended. Working as a team requires being able to communicate and respond quickly. Currently we are not sure of how we will handle voice communication. If in game voice is of a decent quality we will use it. If we decide that in game voice is not up to par we will use Ventrilo. Chances are that we will be using Ventrilo. If you do not already have it and are part of the team expect to get it. If you do not know how to set it up Ruone or I will be willing to help walk you thru it.

If you do not already know online games are hosted by one of the people playing. Because of this we will have to one person always host team games. We will determine who will be the host on the first night of play. This will be done by each member taking a turn at hosting a game and then checking the pings of all members. The person who can provide the lowest pings to the majority of the team will be our host.

One more thing to note. Regardless of if you buy a Retail copy, or use Steam to buy Borderlands you will be required to make a Gamespy.com account. All online matchmaking will be done via Gamespy. This is by design, not something we chose.

We will be starting our first team session around 7PM US Central time on Oct 26th! We will be going as long as we possibly can that night so if you end up on the team and have school the next day I highly suggest getting all your homework done early and taking a long nap before start time.

Know how to have fun WITHOUT being flat out annoying

If after reading all of the above you still think you would like to team up with us good for you. Most people will see a wall of text or think we're being asshats about this.

Modern Warfare 2 WILL NOT have dedicated servers for online matchmaking.

Well actually been running a 16 man CSS server with RPG and deathmatch mod the last month. I've had a couple peak times with players, but most it's been dead.

I'm looking for some people to play with and see what kind of mods *if any* they'd want to meet and play together. Can do some 8v8 that we'll never see on Wii :smilie_diddy:

I don't know if any of you saw this trailer but it's for the new Left 4 Dead 2. Apparently they are going to have melee weapon such as the chainsaw and frying pan. Also they might have some new guns. Here the Youtube trailer:

Well this is a thread about the Half life 2 mod "Garry's Mod" made by "Team Garry".

About Garry's Mod - This is a physics sandbox game that gives the player unlimited possibilities of contraptions like a Wire time machine.

(above info is for people who don't know what Garry's mod is.)

In this thread you can discuss contraptions, programs, Questions, and anything else involving Garry's Mod.

The recent thing i made was a Wired elevator that uses phx (phoenix storm), wire control panel and components and it is all 100% accurate.

If you do not have Portal, you can buy it for $19.99 in the Steam store or in retail stores like Walmart or Gamestop. Either buy "Portal" or "The Orange Box". (Orange Box recommended if you want more games.)

This is not my fastest completion time because i died like 3 or 4 times and i made this time on the Xbox 360 Version of "The Orange Box"

I know that it isn't a cutting edge FPS however I still love it and wanted to know who else played it ... its a fun game. Either way I had an awesome teacher that every Friday gave us a Game Day. However that was only if we did our work and such... But playing CSNS at school with friends was a blast. Sometimes he even let us play during the week if we didn't have anything to do. Best Tech Class EVER ... anyway who else has played CSNS?????

Favorite Class- Pyro (never gets boring IMO, whenever I'm Engie or Medic, it's only because I feel forced to do so when my team is unable to provide a decent defense or when no one else wants to be Medic).

Free Halo Demo?

Hey, does anyone know about this free demo of the first Halo? It's a free demo that not only has one story mode level, it has a one-stage only version of the online multiplayer, as well! I actually ran across this demo at my computer class at school a few years back, and now there is one on every computer in that classroom, lol!

For those who don't know, the Half-Life series is one of the most moddable games in the world of gaming today. In other words, people can make their pwn mod of the game and distribute it free for all the people in the world to download and play so long as they have Half-Life 2 or one of the Orange Box games that came out in 2007.

GoldenEye: Source is one of these mods that is early in its beta. The goal of GE:S is to recreate the nostalgia and feeling of playing the original GoldenEye for the N64. The team is working very hard to release the new beta bumping the release for the current 1.1h to 3.0. The official site of GE:S can be found here.

Some of the screens you can find are very impressive and vivid bringing the characters from their GE64 look.
