I am trying to run this on Vista, and my copy of AOM has the 'crack' file in it which was required to make it work, as it was downloaded from the internet by my uncle, don't know if that helps any but thats all I can give.

This video gets me excited for this game. You can see all the stratedgy and techniques being used, with alot going on in a simple 1v1 match.

As for other news on this game, there is supposed to be a beta in the "next few months". Development for the game is almost finished. As for a release date, there has not been one disclosed yet. Dawn of War
I can't Believe that there isn't one thread about Dawn of War.What I want to know is how many people here actually play Dawn of War, and what races they play as. For those that do not know what Dawn of War is, well you have come to the right place to learn something about it. Dawn of War, is of course an RTS game. But that is not all. There were two expansions for the first game of Dawn of War, Dawn of War, Winter Assault, and Dawn of War, Dark Crusade. But that is not all Because now with Dawn of War II coming out, there is the introduction of a new race the Tyranids. However, my favorite race was released in Dawn of War, Dark Crusade. The Tau, this is of course "For the Greater Good." as the Tau would say. Make sure to post your favorite race and any questions you may have.

To be honest my new PC I built was built to play this game when it hits some day. It sounds dumb to some people but I can't count the hours I spent playing this game. From playing on the school network during computer class to hours of missed calls cause of dial up, its a game I love.

I play the game about once a week and tend to stay to the custom map side so I don't get stomped and feel like I'm getting to old. :Bones:
Out of all the current RTS type games I have played it still stands to be one of the best. Its map editor is crazy power full and people are still cranking out the new map types all the time! Well not all the time but often enough.

Who else might rep the War3 still? Do I stand all alone on the Bnet mountain?
