Yes, you see that right, there is only three sages.
Thats where some of you will get a lucky chance to play on OUR team in some battles! The sages will pick a potential prospect and ask them to play on our team for one weeks worth of battles. At the end of their time playing, we will give them a summery of how they did in battle. Not to mention... maybe a little test!
NOTE: The order of how and who we ask, Does not mean anything.

How to challenge us:
One day a week, usually Saturday, we will take up to 4 match challenges from various teams. Once those four challenger teams have signed up, the rest of the teams after that will go on the waiting list. You may not play on another team and challenge us again for one week.

Sign ups:
Post your code, and your friends codes in one post.
Make sure you have a team name.
We will not accept any challenge from a team that does not have 4 players.
You must have all your teammates picked out before you post.

You do not have to always play on the same team, but you cannot double teams.
Ex. You are playing on a team the faces the sages this week,
two weeks later in the waiting list, you are already on another team.

Rules:
Here is where your fun comes in. Guess what? Sages will not vote. So you get to put your teams best stage and weapon set, and we will have to do our best to take you down in your strength!

In the event that a person form either team will not be able to make the match, which will probably happen often, there are 3 solutions for the team with less players.
1. Do the match with only three people against four.
2. Ask the other team if they mind dropping one player.
3. Postpone your match.

*This may also happen for the Sages.

As stated above. The sages will not back down. We will take your challenge. We are not afraid.

I recall having large private group games often in the dataDyne clan, and I wish to bring it out in the open. With the emergence of more hackers and glitches out there, I'm sure most of us now want to play TC solely for private games.

Pretz's All Inclusive Conduit Course

Overview:

This thread is for all those wanting improved understanding and skill in The Conduit. The course is comprised of a introductory stage, a secondary level, and finally moves on to an advanced section needing the knowledge contained in previous lessons. Throughout the course there will be occasional 1on1 matchs and public matches to observe your progress and assess your strengths and weaknesses.

All parts of the course have been designed to act as a basis for the parts ahead, and the setup is under constant analysis for continued improvement in efficiency.

This course is NOT a "quick observe you in a match and offer a few pointers afterwards" service, it takes a lengthly period of time including numerous sessions untill you have finished each section, opt to move on, to choose to drop out. The purpose is to teach you how to play the game with strategy and skill, not only finding your weakpoints and teaching skills but helping you improve upon your flaws and learn the skills untill you feel beyond comfortable. Due to the level of detail and attention standards i will be keeping this service to i will not be accepting large numbers of students, the max will currently rest at 4-5 in the first two stages combined, and 2-3 in the last stage. These caps are not likely not increase to preserve the quality of information.

Requirements:

You must have The Conduit and an Internet connection.

You should have some way to converse besides Wiispeak although Wiispeak will help. I currently have AIM and MSN, I may install another messaging program if necessary. If you don't have one i will request you install one of those 2, and if that is impossible i can use the private chat windows from the chat room here at NP, however it requires you actually be on the page and makes it far more difficult to contact you.

Finally you must be willing to read lengthly text, i refuse to omit any detail and parts of the lessons can become quite wordy because of this. However if you got this far into the thread and are still interested you likely will be fine with this.

Timing:

I am generally available to teach and/or play The Conduit from 5-12PM EST, 2-9PM Pacific. If specific dates and times work better then a fluid spontaneous basis scheduling can be arranged but i cannot teach two people at a time excluding group practice matches including multiple students to facilitate a practice situation apart from a 1on1 while maintaining the ability monitor students without losing their location.
