Get a SD card. If it has a private directory, rename it temporarily, e.g. to "privateold". Having other saved channels on the same card will screw it up. Download abd6a_v200.zip and unzip it onto the SD card. Go download the HackMii installer. Copy installer.elf to the root of the SD card, and rename it to boot.elf. Press the SD card icon (for the SD menu). This is different from the last version. Then insert the card. It should either pop up Load boot.dol/elf? or freeze. If it pops up a dialog, then fill out the survey. If you encounter any problems from then on, don't try other versions (it won't help), but see the information below the survey.

DISCLAIMER

I do not take responsibility for any damage you do to your Wii using this method. So PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A NAND BACKUP for use with BootMii incase anything bad happens. You can then undo the damage that is done and leave everything the way it is.


NOTE: You need to be on version 3.2, 4.0 or 4.1 to use this, if you attempt this on any other firmware, you will brick your Wii and have to use your NAND Backup to restore.


Requirements

4. Any mym file (Can be located here)

7. Wad Packer/Unpacker
8. Microsoft Forms 2.01 (Google it)
9. Latest .NET Framwork (Google it)

First off, we're going to want to have a nice NAND Backup if anything goes wrong, this is where BootMii comes in. Boot the Wii and head into the bootmii menu. Head into the settings menu (The Gear image) and press on the image with the green arrow. I would recommend having a fresh formatted SD card for this step, although it is not required. Follow the onscreen instructions, and just wait for it to finish. It is normal to have up to 100 bad blocks, so don't worry about those as you're making the backup.

Once you've done that, put MyMenuify on your SD card in the apps folder. On the root of the SD card, create a folder called "Themes"

Open NUSD on your computer. In the first box, type in 0000000100000002.

In the second box, input:
288 if you have 3.2 NTSC-J
289 if you have 3.2 NTSC-U
290 if you have 3.2 PAL
416 if you have 4.0 NTSC-J
417 if you have 4.0 NTSC-U
418 if you have 4.0 PAL
449 if you have 4.1 NTSC-U

Make sure you check off Pack -> WAD before you begin the download.

Once the download is complete there should be a folder 0000000100000002vXXX. Open it and you should see a WAD file. Place the wad in the same folder as your WADUnpacker.bat, rename it to in.wad and run the .bat file. Follow the instructions to unpack the WAD.

Once unpacked, remove the 0000001.app file and move it onto your desktop. Here is where you need an mym file. Go to: Mym Repository - WADder Wiki and download any theme you wish, 4.0 themes work for 4.1 as well. Download anyone you want, as long as it's compatible with your firmware.

Install MyMenu. Browse for your source file, the source file is 0000001.app. After that's selected browse for your mym file. Once selected, click "Create MyMenu!". Save the csm file in the "Themes" folder on the root of your SD card. And insert the SD card in your Wii.

Launch MyMenuify, browse your SD card and find the theme file you've just created. Install it, and reboot.

Congrats, you've installed a Custom System Menu theme. Simply reboot and admire how great of a job you did.

If all went wrong and your Wii Menu does not load, do not be afraid, restore your NAND through BootMii and everything well revert back to normal, and you can try again if need be.

Well, ShadowofChaos from the Ocarina Codes thread suggested I make a thread for requests about this. I'm kinda used to making Music Hacks at this point and am willing to take requests. These Brawl Music files are in .BRSTM format, and require you to use an Ocarina code by Phantom Wings, called "File Replacement 3.2a" which allows music hacking without a modified Brawl ISO.

The code is...

The Music File Name relates to the "code" of a song. The list of "codes" and what they are can be downloaded here.

Since the Brawl music files are in .BRSTM format, and .mp3 and .wav and other files won't work, you need to convert the song files that you want into .BRSTM format. Since that isn't exactly the easiest thing to do for the average person, (though it isn't rocket science either) I'm opening a request thread.

Just fill out this form and I'll convert the song into a .BRSTM file for you:

If you know it, what is the artist's name?
What is the song title?
Does it make an appearance in a video game?
If so, then what's the game's title?
Can you provide the .MP3 or .WAV or whatever?

Toon Trainer
(related to Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker)

The manifestation of Toon Link in the Pokemon universe. One day, while Link was out on his adventures, he met with a man wearing a mysterious mask, which had spikes at it's sides and huge eyes with a familiar design. The man rushed to Link and gave him the first hit, but he dodged and picked up his sword and thrust it forward, the attack seemed to strike him but it had no effect. Link was left with no choice but to run away. The man appeared in front of him out of nowhere and put Link unconscious. He couldn't move, all he heard was a weird chanting and a loud shriek, presuming it was the mans voice. Seconds later, the chanting stopped, Link awoke and the man was nowhere to be seen. All seemed well to Link, until he went to take a drink at a fountain. In the waters reflection, he saw another persons body instead of his own. Now, with the help of Valoo, Zephos and Jabun, he will be able to confront the mysterious man and get his body back.

The program to open the downloaded files is WinRAR, go on google and write " download winrar " to get it

PREPARE THE TWILIGHT HACK:
Go on your wii memory and copy your zelda twilight princess savegame inside a SD card and take it to your computer in a safe place, then delete it from your Wii memory.

You have downloaded the twilight hack, inside the twilight hack there are 2 files:
README and private

When you open private you find: private - wii - title - rzde, rzdj, rzdp

Make your SD card like this:

SD card: private - wii - title - rzdj data.bin ( twilight hack ) if you have a japanese zelda

SD card: private - wii - title - rzde - data.bin ( twilight hack ) if you have an american zelda

then put the SD on your Wii

take your twilight hack ( wich is inside the sd card ) and copy it on your wii memory.

now that the twilight hack is on your wii take your SD card and put it on your computer, then delete everything inside it.

When i had that problem i used this and then the SD worked.
But if it won't work then you should try with another SD card

Now if it can load the boot.elf file, continue to press 1 on your wiimote to accept the questions

at the end you'll have the homebrew channel on your wii menu.
Bring back your SD card on your computer and delete everything inside it.

inside the SD create a new folder called " apps " and put there the folder " geckoos " wich is in GeckoOS - HBC - geckoos

Now open the hbc folder and copy the folder ocarina inside the apps folder you just created.

Now if you want to activate the codes you must open the program called" codemgr " wich is inside the folder called " pc "

Click on File and then on OPEN TXT FILE

Now you have to choose the game you want to use, you can download the codes you want by clicking on the first link in the video description where it says DOWNLOAD NEW CODES, before the game name there's the region ( JP for japanese wii, US for american wii, EU for european wii ) for example " US - Wii sports " etc.

In the video i used Super smash bros Brawl codes, and Super smash bros Brawl is the file " rsbp " in the European folder ( if you have the american Brawl you must use the one with " US - game name - "

Now that you've activated the codes you wanted to use, click on EXPORT TO GCT

Choose your SD card where it says " Drive letter " and then click on " store "

Now inside your SD card, near the " apps " folder that you created before using the codes you can see the " codes " folder

Put the SD on your Wii and run The Homebrew channel, then the Ocarina program ( notice: while doing this you MUSTN'T have got gamecube memory cards on your wii )

Put Super smash bros Brawl in your Wii and then press A on your wiimote, after that... enjoy the fun.

If you want to delete the codes or change them, delete the codes folder from the SD card and then star again with the program codemgr
