A pair of Death Row inmates, a mercenary named Kane and a schizophrenic named Lynch, escape during a prison transport and team up to retrieve a stolen fortune. Based on a video game.

Calling all South Park Fans!
I know alot of people watch south park, but what makes it so funny? Is it the fact that they talk and walk funny, or is it the jokes they make that are hilarious? In my opinion, it is both.
Definitely my favourite show and I think it's funny/interesting because they pull stuff that no other shows dare to do but what general people think of anyways in their minds. (Racism, Politics and other controversial issues.)

I know I used to watch all my shows online cause I used to go out at night all the time with family on that days that shows I watched premiered on. Or if my parents like controlled the tv downstairs, making me miss the episodes. Shows like Heroes, Prison Break, Bones, house, etc.

ANY DISCUSSION ON THE MOVIE STORYLINE PLEASE PUT IN SPOILERS

I heard this movie was really scary. I heard from it a few months ago from a friend who saw a screening of it in his town. He said it was one of the scariest movies he has seen in a long time. I quickly demanded to have it play in my area and luckily it's played in most parts of the United States. I havn't seen this movie yet but I'm going with my friend to see it this Saturday. Hopefully it is as scary as they say it is.

They thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities.

Heroes airs every Monday at 9/8PM central on NBC (Global TV if you are in Canada) and documents the lives of various individuals across the world. The storyline primarily takes place in the United States but there have been instances where other countries take the spotlight (Japan the best example).

Anyone who has ever been interested in supernatural abilities will find Heroes an intriguing experience. Meet Peter Petrelli, the medic that can absorb other people's abilities. His brother Nathan can fly. Claire Bennet is a cheerleader that can regenerate. Matt Parkman is a cop with the power to read minds. Hiro Nakamura can manipulate time and space. Sylar is the main atagonist of the series. If any of this has sparked your curiosity, this show is worth checking out.

This thread will be the discussion thread for every episode from season 1 (which is the finest season so far in my personal opinion, although each season is very well made) to the most current episodes.

There will likely be spoilers, so read this thread at your own risk! It is asked that discussion for the most recent episode aired is placed in spoilers. Don't want to potentially spoil it for someone else!

I don't know about you, but I'd like some details before I decide to spend my time watching a new anime.
I'll start us off.

Most of you have probably already seen this before, but I recommend Death Note to anyone who hasn't seen it or finished it. It's about a high-school student who finds a notebook that can kill anyone by having the victim's face in mind and writing his/her name in the notebook. The student decides that he's going to make a revolution by eliminating all the criminals in the world. After a while, people take notice of this and realize the deaths aren't coincidence. The world's greatest detective, known as L, is interested in this event and decides to find the striving revolutionary and bring him to his execution. From there, it's a battle of wits and our student has to make use of the various rules in the killing notebook to his advantage and strategically find ways to outsmart L.

Id like to here everyones opinions on what you believe will happen in the upcoming movie saw VI. What do you think will happen? Do you think there will be a next jigsaw? Maybe... you believe that this shall be the last movie?Well peronally this is what I think....... well first of I'm like :G wtf wuz in the box jigsaws wife got in teh box in #5!!!!! This is my hypothesis...... in saw 2... the guy had the key in his eye... but there was a problem with that whole game.. First... the original jigsaw whas a engineer..... Amanda was I dont know whut... and as for hoffmen.. he was just a police cop or fbi or sumthen... so whats wrong with all of that?.. Wel.. for starters in the video they show the guy in the begining of Saw II first of jigsaws face was hidden.... second, He was limping..... wtf? third, he performed SURGERY... YES SURGERY.. non of the three had/ have the ability to do that... second of all....... why was he limping.... seriously.... also in number III to be alive jigsaw needed medical equipment and had it.... where did he get all that? My thoughts are that maybe Dr. Gordon (from Saw I) was rescued by jigsaw and became his apprentice... thats the only explanation i can think of... what do you guys think about this (you guys who have watched the movies)

Well after soul searching for a good movie that could give me a good scare for the past how many years I think I finally found one, or it found me, your pick.
So apparently this trailer was played during District 9 ( They didn't show it at my District 9 showing though :( ) so my friend just gave me the link maybe an hour ago or so and seriously this is the first time I've heard about this movie.

It kind of gives me that Mothman Prophecies vibe, which is an equally creepy movie and a must watch if your into this paranormal stuff as much as I am.
Anyway what do you think? Also it has my favorite actress in it.

I have heard this before but just recently started to belive it.

The things we see on Tv, Is it possible that it really can provoke certain people to do things they normally wouldn't just because they saw it on television?

For instance if a guy see's a guy on tv drinking coffee then throws it on someone for a laugh.

Would that guy try to throw coffee on someone because he saw it and it made him laugh?

That's just an example but what does everyone here think?

So I used to watch this when I was younger, but I recently started watching it again from the 1st episode, it was freaking hilarious!! Kelso and Fez are just priceless in this show. I remember watching the finale and I shed some tears, because 8 years had passed since that very 1st episode.

Tron 2 First Trailer

We finally saw some new footage from Tron Legacy, the new Tron movie. And it was totally worth waiting a year for: Kinetic, delirious and full of light-cycle brilliance. Spoilery descriptions below.

It's been a full year since Disney surprised us and blew our minds with a surprise glimpse of the Tron sequel we didn't even know was coming. Now, for the first time, we got to see some actual scenes from the movie, and it fully uploaded us into the cyber-world.

First Clip:

We see Flynn's Arcade from the outside. A voice-over says, "I said I would tell you if I heard anything about your father. I just got a call from the arcade. That number's been disconnected for 20 years."

Sam Flynn drives up on his bike and unlocks the front door of the arcade. The Flynn's set is recreated perfectly, we even see the couch in Flynn's apartment upstairs, covered in bed sheets. The arcade is dark, but one machine is obviously on in the back. As Daft Punk plays, Sam walks to the back past the tarped machines. He pulls the tarp off the final game and it is on, clearly labeled "TRON." Sam starts to put a coin in the machine, but drops it. As he goes to pick it up, he notices a scratch in the tile floor. On a hunch, he pulls the TRON cabinet out and discovers a secret passage behind the machine. Sam walks into the passage and the machine ominously slides back into position, closing the door.

Lightcycle test footage:

We see a city inside the computer. Everything is black, with buildings and blocks outlined with a faint blue glow. We see the Blue Guy, hiding behind one of the blocks from an aerial searchlight. Suddenly, he leaps out and a blue lightcycle digitally appears beneath him in mid-air. The lightcycle is black and glossy, with blue lines, and leaves a translucent blue stripe behind it, very much an updated version of the movie's lightcycle color trail. He is immediately pursued by a guy on an identical lightcycle, except the lines on his outfit and cycle are light green.

They drive off toward the distant city, with the cycles dodging objects and driving down stairs. The Blue Guy spots a narrow passageway through a mountain and drives for it. The Green Guy doesn't respond quickly enough, and tiny batwings shoot out of his cycle, bringing it to a stop (Who knew drag resistance existed in computers?). The Blue Guy continues through the tunnel and comes out on the other side, heading for the bridge that will take him into the city. But the Green Guy heads him off at the pass, and the cycles crash with a boom that physically shook everyone in the room.

The boom is also loud enough to shake Kevin Flynn, who opens his eyes in another part of the computer. Where the other characters' features are obviously animated, he looks normal, and is dressed completely in white and sits in an unnaturally white room. He watches as the two battle, apparently walking toward a window. When the Blue Guy is knocked to the ground, the Green Guy pulls out his disc and the Blue Guy protests, "but it's only a game."

The Green Guy reveals his face and responds, with a smirk, "Not anymore."

Reason/s:

Killed off some of my favorite characters in the series, and made a little girl cry as he forced her to envision the fading life-signs of her closest companions, truly a guy who just works me the wrong way.

2 - Gauron

Series: Full Metal Panic!

Reason/s:

This man died two times and STILL came back for more! There is no describing the determination he had to do that, and for what? To first abduct a high school girl to run horrendous lab tests on, and then try to kill her later. Sure he gets whacked at the end of the series, but there is no doubt that his legend will bring about someone more horrible...

3 - Halekulani

Series: Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo

what do you guys think about the trailer of the movie The Last Airbender which is a live action movie of Avatar the last airbender.?

i saw the trailer and i thought it looks pretty damn good. The effects are cool, except maybe the main character could have looked a bit more asian. But it looks better than the dragon ball movie

Terminator-Salvation Movie Review

Alright...so today, I went to the movies, and saw the new Terminator movie...And, I must say, it was actually very good...I'm going to make this review short, sorry, guys....well, it stuck well with the story, and it brings back Reese (From number one) John Connor's father. So, John goes through time, and meets his father, who is only a teenager at the time (I was so stunned at how much alike the Reese from part one was like this guy...he sounds just like him, too)...there is plenty of action, and many different kinds of machines. The effects are great, and the beginning isn't slow at all. Some parts are just plain epic....you see more into how the Terminators are made, and, yes, don't worry Arnold IS in the movie...just around the ending part, though. If you are a fan of Terminator movies...I would greatly recommend this movie to you guys.

- I've seen the First Transformers movie and I was very happy with the results, hopefully Megan's ass can please me again.

Second is,

08/14/09

- District 9 was supposed to be the infamous Halo movie but looks like that didn't plan out. It is still something to look out for because they did not crap out on the action scenes.

Third,

09/09/09

- Tim Burton is the producer in this one and has his style of movies but, this looks to be an action movie. Another thing I like about this is that its on my birthday.

Forth,

09/18/09

- Looks like someone is trying to rob a bank, but its not the usual bank robbers you would expect.

Fifth and last is something everyone on here should want to see or people who liked Tron,

09/04/09

- I mentioned Tron and its should be hard to guess why after seeing the trailer for Gamer.
