First off, I have a laptop of my own, FINALLY, and now I want to use it to record and post some of the Brawl match vids I've got saved on my Wii.

The problem is, I have no idea what components, cables, and programs to use, much less what the ports that any cables would plug into look like.

So, my question is; can someone help me with a bit of a step-by-step towards getting my laptop ready to share my Brawl vids?

so i let it restore and when i turn the iphone back on its says put in a valid sim card and connect to itunes, but the problem is that i dont have a valid sim card and if i put in some other sim in it and connect it to itunes, itunes says please enter a valid sim card!

is there any way i can activate it without a sim?

This seems to be happening more and more often for me.. When I try to send a quick reply, (the box at the bottom of the thread) it will say its loading, and then in about 30 seconds, a little box above it says, "Could not post quick reply because of this error" or something like that. This seems to be happening more and more with my Wii... It makes some games fail to read online play. TC for example won't work properly online if the Wii isn't cool. Right now, I have a mini fan blowing on it, to try to keep it cooler. I'm not sure if its just my rooms temp? I have a loft for a room, so all the heat rises from the lower floor.. So I quickly shut it down, unplugged it, and put a fan back on it..

Its more of me being worried, than a tech issue, But it does seem that the games don't play as fast and smooth if its warmer. Maybe its just me.

I have a wireless router and I have wirelessly set up 4 computers, a Wii, a TIVO and other devices without a problem. I use WPA security settings. I'm an amateur computer and IT tech, so this is not all new to me.

I go to the DSi, do connection settings, advanced settings, connection 4, search for access point and it finds my router. SSID is correct. It asks for security setting and I manually input the WPA. When I try to connect it says "Unable to connect to the internet". WiFi is enabled for the DSi.

I have tried changing the DSi settings from WPA to WPA2, using TKID and AES ciphers. Nothing works.

I tried manually entering all information. Nothing works.

The DSi even has WiFi Protected Setup, and so does my router. I used the PIN feature and the router successfully located the DSi. It even showed the DSi in the wireless list. When I tried to connect the DSi, I received the "Unable to connect to the internet" message and the DSi dropped from the wireless list.

Incredibly frustrating to say the least. I'm ready to chuck the DSi out the window.

When I remove all security settings on the router, guess what? The DSi connects. But I'm not going to have an unsecured router, and I'm not going to mess with inferior and complicated WEP when I can use WPA.

• Re-plugging the router
• Restoring my 360 to factory settings
• Manually change the IP address/subnet on my 360 to make it match the IP address shown on my Mac

(The subnet is usually 255.255.0.0, if that makes a difference)

What I mean by that last bulletin point is that in the picture, the IP address and subnet there, I would add manually to my 360. Although when I go back to test xbox live, it disconnects for a second and re-connects, changing the IP I just changed it to.

I have the ethernet cable plugged into my mac, and have a wireless router. When I select Automatically (find the IP and subnet, on my 360) it doesn't find the same IP that matches the one that would be shown in the picture.

I have a serious problem and I have no idea why it happened.
After a SMG session I ejected the game disc and inserted another one.
But instead that the Wii would start to read the disc, the following happened.

The disc was pulled in, pushed out half, pulled in again and finally pushed out completely. After that the drive made strange sounds, as it would do when starting the Wii without a disc but not just a second but about 10 secs.

So now I have no clue what happened.

Reset the Wii: Nothing
Place it vertically: Nothing
Shake it (I know... That should not be done...): Works again!

At the moment it works but the problem was there again and the solution the same... :(

Sadly I have no warranty anymore, I think.

Any idea what I could do instead of shaking it? :chair:

I have a DS Lite and have just purchased an SD micro card and RS4 adapter. I was told to format the card, which I did (in Windows!) I think I should have formatted it in the DS itself. Problem is that, whether or not I hold down the Start and Select buttons and turn on the DS, I get, on the top screen, a red icon of an SD card with the word Menu and a question mark. I can go no further.

When I formatted it in Vista I used the exFAT file system and the first time I used FAT32.

Can anyone help me correct this?
