Sixty-Nine was created by Pauly D on August 4th, 2010. Pauly D then recruited Brandon, and breakout superstar Excess. They planned to make this clan the best it possibly could be. As much as they like winning they also cherish making a nice connection through a group of individuals. They are here to be the BEST there is, don�t get that wrong. But they will have fun wether they win, lose, or tie. We hope to recruit many players who love the game, and will just come out and have a fun time.

History

We formed on November 19, 2008. We were an an elite clan full of fun, friends, wars, and events. We merged with Supernova in January, 2009. We were then called KN (Knightmare). It was one of the most active clans after RB died. However,flaming occured during the 2nd week of merging. Eventually,the clan died and was really the Knightmare it's self. I then went to Asphalt Warriors, an elite clan. When I got CoD though, I simply became inactive for Asphalt Warriors. So I quit. Then I revived LR March, 2009. The clan became even more powerful then it was when the clan was 1st made. We merged with Phantom Chill to create Velocity Strike. DEAD. I then went to Eclipse. It was the official FC Clan. Then that little kid mikey spoiled everything and made it unofficial, even when he wasn't in the clan. As of June, 2009, we are back in action again! We hope to live forever! If not, a very long time!

We are an elite clan full of skills, and friends. We will have a great time, and make new friends, participate in intense wars, and much more! We would like to have you join! More members=fun and things mentioned above!

Try Outs

Our main goal is Mario Kart Wii, but we also play Call of Duty, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Excitebots! You can join for at least 1 or all (if you have all games)!

And they kicked ass.

As one chapter ends, another begins anew. As is the way with life.

Welcome to The Fellowship of the Kart; an expansion that is dedicated to the art that is Mario Kart Wii. This extension of the clan will follow its Brawl predecessor in format and style (by kicking ass and representing, as usual). Our prowess will not be underestimated; our skills not undermined.

Legends:
Leaders of the Fellowship. These racers are the ones that co-ordinate anything and everything that goes on in here, with the help from Champions. Legends also have a high degree of skill on the track.

Champions:
Adept in the many arts of Mario Kart, these racers have proven themeselves as masters of the track. Champions also help Legends out with the organisation of the Fellowship.

Bikers:
These are for those who have shown talent and skill in the usage of bikes. Never mess around with these skilled bike users ;).

April 21st, [MWM], a Mario Kart Wii clan, was created by a young guy, fredfredburgersucks. [MWM] obviously started with no members, but along came a man called ThePyman, only when he joined the clan, it wasn't a concious choice, he was drunk, "Hey, i use middleweights, i can join this clan lulz". Shortly after, Mogo and Hooktail joined [MWM] as the 3rd and 4th members. ThePyman was upgraded to co-leader and Fred decided he would let Mogo and Hooktail race it out to find who would be the 3rd co leader. Strangely enough, Mogo and Hooktail always got the same points in the 2 GPs they played.
Fred then decided that instead of having 2 co-leaders, he would let Hooktail and Mogo both be co-leaders, becoming a total of 3. The week the clan was created, it established greatly, and all the leaders knew this was going to be a great group of friends.
Rom, Random_Colours, Churkirby, Dunkar and Sampipe were the ones showing a lot of interest in the clan. But the problem was, Having good players is easy enough, but to get them to work together is no easy task.
Fred was just a kid, and didn't turn out to be a good leader. The three co-leaders saw this, and knew they had to do something. They left [MWM] and remade it, but with a different name and leader. ICE* began. Everyone from [MWM] were allowed to rejoin, under order from the new leader, ThePyman. With a new clan and new leadership, everything was going steady.

Coming together is a beginning.

With approval from Pac_cap the 4th MKW Clan Wars Tournament is set to commence!

Hosted by himself!!

Here is what we need.

8 Clans (we will get this)

6 members from each clan, and I expect the best.

Here is how this tournament will flesh out.

I am borrowing from intercollegiate sports tournaments that I have participated in the past. This is a team event, just because an individual wins, does not guarantee a clan win.

There will be 6, 8 person brackets (hopefully this will also make it go faster)

You will rank your 6 participants 1-6. Then all #1s will be placed in a bracket, all #2s will be placed in a bracket, etc., etc..

For the matches, it will be standard format, any vehicle you choose (bike or kart, etc), use items, first to 3 wins takes the match (so you play a sudden death race if you finish the grand prix tied at 2-2)

Points will be awarded to each team for each win that a clan member achieves, wins in the #1 bracket are worth the most, however, this is mostly to prevent clans from sandbagging by putting their strongest member at #6 for an "easy" win.

Any clan may enter participants (even if you are short by a participant or two), first 8 to enter are in. Only Clan Leaders (or co-leaders) may enter a clan and list their participants. Please post here with participants. You may also post with your clan's interest to enter and edit with your participants later.

I expect full participation from all the clans here (also, I hope this will be fun, quick and painless)

Mario Kart Wii Clan League

I know I'm new but I'll like to make an impact on this board. I would like to start up a clan league for mario kart wii on this board. My idea is a long read and it was in my head for awhile so please read it and if your interested please join up.

I. Season

a. The regular season consists of 6 teams. Each clan will play 10 games, twice against every other clan in the league.

b. Clans will earn 2 league points for each game won, 1 league point for a draw and 0 league points for a game loss.

c. The teams will be ordered with most league points then points difference then points for. If teams are still tied after these tiebreakers, then there will be a game if it is for an important position.

d. The top 3 teams after the end of the 10th playweek will advance to the knockout rounds. The semifinals consisting of the 3rd vs. 2nd with the winner playing 1st place in the Grand Finals.

II. Scheduling

a. Playweeks are 7 days long, starting on Saturday @ 12:00 am EST (4:00 am UK) to Friday @ 11:59 pm (Saturday 3:59 am UK Time). New game matches will be announced at the start of the Playweek.

b. Games are scheduled on the weekends by the league. If both clans agree on a different time to play they may do so providing they tell me the change and before the scheduled time.

Fixed Dates and Times:

Saturday @ 3 pm EST (7 pm UK Time), 4 pm EST (8 pm UK Time), 5 pm EST (9 pm UK Time)

Sunday @ 3 pm EST (7 pm UK Time), 4 pm EST (8 pm UK Time), 5 pm EST (9 pm UK Time)

*NOTE* Once Daylight savings time ends (Nov. 2) all EST times will -1 hour for games to accommodate UK/GMT Time. However Playweek start and end times will continue to be Sat. 12 am EST to Fri. 11:59 am EST.

Players would have to meet in my chat 15 mins before the game starts. If you don't know how to change your name in xat chats, just click on your name. Remember to have your clan tag in your name for easy identification.

c. Teams have 3 wildcards for the regular season and get one in the knockout round. A wildcard postpones games without any penalities. A clan can only use 1 wildcard per game and must tell me if its being used. When a clan uses a wildcard, the game can be played up to 7 days after the end of the Playweek (Friday @ 11:59 pm EST = 3:59 am UK Time). Both teams will receive 1 penalty point for each day a wildcard game goes unfinished after the playweek ends. Clans may pm to get the penalty point(s) taken off if they feel that the opposing clan caused the situation within 2 days from the finished game. Clans will receive 1 penalty point for postponing games without any wildcards remaining.

d. If a clan doesn't show up for the game after 15 mins of the start time, without prior notice of a wildcard or any postponement will forfeit with a score of 360-0 and will take 3 penalty points. The present clan's captain should take a photo (Print Screen) of the chat with the time for proof.

e. If both clans don't show up then both clans will use their wildcards.

III. Roster

a. Player can only play for one clan at a time

b. Team can sign-up 20 players to play for their clan. Once a player is signed up they can only be removed for special reasons (eg. the player left the clan)

c. Only registered members can race for their team. If a team plays an unregistered player they will automatically forfeit the race and receive 2 penalty points

d. New players must wait a playweek before they can play in a race and rosters are frozen (cannot add players) when playoffs start.

IV. Games

a. Games are 4v4 2 GP races. The clan that scores the most points after the 2 GPs win the game. If the scores are leveled after 2 GPs will end in a draw in a regular season game and a third GP will be held in knockout games.

b. Clans need a minimum of 3 players to play in a given game. Each player must have their clan tag in their online name.

c. No character restrictions.

d. No vehicle restrictions.

e. RANDOM track selection for all 8 races. If a player chooses a track and is chosen by the selector, the clan will take a 30 in game point deduction and 0.5 penalty points.

f. No hacks, cheating or exploits

g. The HOME clan's captain hosts the game and would need to take pictures of each GP's results for the game.

h. In the event of accidental disconnections, the opposing side's lowest scoring member must disconnect or drop the lowest score if it happened in the last race. If a clan disconnects to the point that they only have 2 players or less, the GP can be played again if proven to be an accident. (Borrowed from Territory Wars on mariokartwii.com)

V. Penalty Points

a. Penalty points subtract from total league points. Every 3 penalty points subtracts 1 league point.

b. Clans that total 12 penalty points in the season will be disqualified from the running league.

c. Unused wildcards will remove 1 penalty point for every one at the end of the regular season.

Who may enter

Any member of the Mushroom Brigade or the Nintendo New Schoolers who is looking for some fun in a little everyone for themselves inter-clan fun :D This is not a war, but an opportunity to prove your individual skills against the members of two clans. ;)

How to enter

All that you’ll need to do is post your name in this thread.

Once we have decided no more MB or NNS member wish to sign up, a bracket will be made.

In game rules/requirements

**RULES**

- 1 vs. 1 matches
- Game Type: VS Race.
- Stage selection will ALWAYS be random.
- Any character may be used.
- Karts and Bikes are allowed.
- After the 4 races are complete, the person with the most points wins.
- If there is a tie after the 4 races, a sudden death winner takes all race will take place.
-No cheating please, do I really need to ask?
-A first round loss will assign you to the second bracket (after the first round, each bracket is single elimination)*

How this works

Only one person advances in the first round, the two losing racers will move into the second bracket. This is not a double elimination tournament, however a tournament with two brackets, where everyone is guaranteed two races xD

Make sure when you report the match, that you indicate who finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd in order to properly seed the second bracket. Thank you ^.^

I ran this idea past BIM, and he suggested I post to check interest, so here we are.

"Trans-Guild Tournament?... Wha?"

This is an idea for a competition among any guilds that wish to participate. Here's how it would work:
We'd have an equal number of entrants from each interested guild sign up... a number that's divisible by 2 (i'll use 6 for example purposes... guild A 6, guild B 6, guild C 6, etc lets say that 4 guilds enter...)

Then, each entrant from each guild is randomly put in a new group of the same number of participants (a group of 6 in this example). So, say there were 24 entrants total from 4 guilds... there would be 4 groups, each one a random mismatch among all entrants so that each group (ideally) consists of members from each guild entered.
Each of the 4 "trans-guild" groups would enter a team race and let the system decide the team split within the group (3 vs 3). The losing team from each group is eliminated... In the event there is an odd number of entrants left after the first round elimination, the highest individual score among all members on losing teams gets a 'wild card' spot. If there was a tie for highest losing score, a sudden death 1 round vs race acts as tie breaker. If there is a tie among teams, a 1 round team race sudden death would act as tie breaker.

Once there is an even number of entrants after the first round, they are divided randomly again into 2 teams, (6 each in this example)... and the process starts again... another team race for each group, losing team is out... Another 6 left... another team race.... the winning final 3 go into an all out vs race. In the event of a tie in this final race, the tied players face off on a mutually agreed upon course.

Make sense?

This would be a unique way to show off both your individual skills and represent your guild!

For now, I'm just posting to see how many guilds are interested, numbers of entrants per guild can be determined later. I'd like to have 20-30 participants start round 1.

So what do you think, sound like fun? :D

Yes, that's right, it's time to get Mario Kart active again with another clan wars. Are you people ready? Because last time it didn't happen, and I'm not completely sure why (lazy Fury, you bum ;P).

All righty, here's the lowdown on the rules.

Who Can Enter?
Any clan that has four or more active members able to participate.
First 4 or 8 clans to register will be accepted.
Clan leaders(or if the clan leader is MIA, the co-clan leaders) must enter their clans to ensure that the clan is active.

Representatives
4 reps per clan.
At least 1 alternate is required in case one of the reps are forced to back out for some reason.
Having more than one is fine.

Race Rules
1. Randomized Stages. No one should ever select a track.
2. Any person can be used
3. Only karts can be used
4. Best of 4 races.
5. In the event of a tie, there will be one sudden death race to end it all.

Tournament Setup
The tournament will traditional bracket setup. All members play individually and separately but still represent their clan. No clan member will be paired off against another unless they reach the semis or finals. Simple and sweet.
