Allow me to present an unprecedented giveaway event!

WHAT:

For 2 days (and 2 days only) I will be opening my town to absolutely anyone who wishes to visit, for the sole purpose of giving away items! Tons of items! Mega tons of items! A WHOLE TOWN FULL OF ITEMS!

WHEN:

Wednesday, September 23rd - 8 AM - 8 PM (EST)

Thursday, September 24th - 10:30 AM - 8 PM (EST)

WHY:

Why not!

HOW:

I am a hacker. I will be creating a special town that consists only of items. No flowers. No trees. No money. Just items and lots of them. Region specific items not normally available to other regions, official DLC from ALL regions and Hacked DLC included!

Anyone who wishes to do so may visit my town and take any item they want. No rules. No holds. No requests. No limits!

Want to take part?

DO:

Respond to this thread with:

• Your friend code
• The day you want to come (pick ONE; Wedneday or Thursday)
• Add my FC to your roster

DO NOT:

• Tell me to look in your FC list. I won't. I'm going to look here and nowhere else. If your FC isn't here, I don't add you.
• Choose both days. You get to pick ONE. If you pick both days, I don't add you.

Other Information

I will not be around after I open my gates.

• I will be unable to answer questions.
  
  
• I will be unable to regulate how long visitors stay.
  
  
• I will be unable to regulate how often someone comes to my town.
  
  
• I will be unable to regulate what visitors take.
  
  
• I will be unable to replace items as they are taken.

These reasons are why there are NO limits to anything. Everything is first come, first serve. I have made sure to put SEVERAL (at least 5-6, but in most cases 15-20+) of each item.

I hope that most of you will be kind enough to only take a few of each of the items you want, but I won't be there to see if you don't.

I have created a map to make finding the items you want easier.

This way, you will also know what items I have available, so that you can decide whether or not you want to come.



Items will be replaced at the beginning of each day.

This is so that those choosing Thursday won't leave you with only leftover pickings from the Wednesday people.

Items are first come, first serve starting at the beginning of each day.

None of the town buildings will be available to you.

The Town Hall, the Able Sister's Shop, the Museum and Nookington's are underwater. You won't be able to go in.

I did this so that there would be more room for items, but also so that people could not simply pick up items and sell them for the money or send things to themselves. It seemed unfair.

Other Items of Note.

• My roster in this town is empty. Even if I had you added, before, I would need to add you, again.
  
  
• You can still fish and catch bugs in my town, but since there are no trees or flowers, only ground and a few flying bugs will be available. If you want to, feel free, of course, but remember that only 3 people can visit at a time and others may want to get in. I'd prefer if you find the items you want, take them and then leave to make room for others.
  
  
• As specified, hacked DLC is included, here. Hacked DLC will NOT harm your game (it can't freeze or corrupt your save). More information on that here.

Honestly, it's likely too late. The HDLC thing spreads like a virus.

If I have the HDLC and I visit Peter, he gets it added to his save, even if I never gave him one or he never picks one up. Then, YOU visit Peter and it gets added to YOUR save, even if you never got one... then everyone YOU visit gets it and everyone THEY visit gets it, etc, etc.

I'd be willing to bet that there aren't many people out there who don't have the HDLC in their save, if they're online.

Not only did I spent quite a bit of time creating an entire town full of items and will spend the time to make sure that everyone who wants to be added is added, but I am giving the items away free of charge. The least you can do is make sure I don't have to go searching through everyone's lists to find their friend codes.
