I've seen a walkthrough of ODST thanks to *Nextgenwalkthoughs* but i've yet to see any Fire fight gameplay. Anyone care to explain how it works?
Also. I know ODST comes with two discs. One for Campaign and one for multiplayer. My question is, is there anything different about the *multiplayer* disc compared to Halo 3's multiplayer? Example: Features, maps, weapons ECT... Last question: How does the: Purchase ODST and recieve an invite to the Halo reach online beta work? Do you just buy it and recieve a message threw Xbox live once it goes live?

The Mythic Multiplayer Disc which comes with ODST has no differences whatsoever when compared to Halo 3's multiplayer. As for the Reach Beta, they haven't started the process for redeeming the beta or even signing up. Hopefully they will release some details about it soon.

From what i heard on *Nextgenwalkthrough* No. The pistol is slightly different. I believe it has a silencer on it, it just sounds different.
From my POV. Its a bit of a disappointment that the Multiplayer is exactly the same. I didn't know about the *double disc* until ODST released. Just knowing that makes the game not worth $60.

What ever happened to playing games for the sake of your own personal enjoyment? And I've been told Firefight is the best implementation of that style of gameplay (the Horde-like gametype I mean) is well worth the money. And the only thing different is it has that Halo1-ish pistol as everyone knows, and a silenced SMG with a scope.

To be honest after almost two weeks of halo 3 odst, the game does not beat the original halo 3 imo. I use the multi player disk like 90 percent of the time. Odst was fun at first with the new campaign and the new fire fight mode but the lack of no matchmaking in odst really hit bungie hard. I enjoy playing odst with friends or with people around but since firefight cant play with random people i get bored of the game when my friends arent on. Also once i got my recon armor by completing the odst achievements my will to play odst has gotten slimmer. I was psyche and amaze at odst at first but now im just whatevers with it. If bungie was to enable random people finding in firefight then my interest for firefight will spark just a bit again. I favor halo 3 over odst anytime. I prefer to play online with real people than cpu brutes anydays.

The multiplayer disc isn't meant to be a new experience, it's just meant to give out the last batch of maps to everyone.
