Ever wanted simple feedback on a game, but there isn't a review for it? Or maybe you're just too lazy to read the review and you want something that's short and to the point.
The Game Feedback Thread is here for you. Just ask about a game here and wait for somebody to reply. The replies don't have to be massive. 1-2 paragraphs is good. 4-6 sentences makes a paragraph. But don't worry, we won't go grammar nazi on you lol. These can be considered mini-reviews. Here's an example Can anybody give me feedback on Halo 3? Halo 3 is an excellent shooter. The graphics are an amazing sight. The story is one of the best I've seen. It keeps you busy for quite a while and it's pretty challenging. The soundtrack for the game is also something to take note of. Though I don't play too often, I've never experienced any lag with this game. The matchmaking is fairly quick. There are many ranks for you to achieve. Along with ranks, are the list of achievements which will keep you occupied for an even longer amount of time. This game really is something. Even when you've achieved all you can, you'll still want to come back for more. Every match is always a blast when you're playing Halo 3. If you have an Xbox 360, I strongly suggest you buy this game. RULES As always, check out the Review forum first, we have some excellent reviews over there that should normally answer your questions. No repeating yourself between every post if you don't get answers. Be patient. If your post goes off the page without an answer, (say every 10 posts for the sake of argument,) you may ask again, but otherwise, these posts will be deleted. Have fun! This is the Microsoft Feedback Thread. Here are links to the other branches Nintendo Sony PC Gaming

Resident Evil 5 eh?
First off it plays exactly the same as RE4 which is either a good thing or bad thing. I loved RE4 so I like the controls and what not. The game has very good graphics. For example the lighting is perfect. It makes some scenes quite intense and a wee bit scary. The gameplay like I said already is the same as RE4, but it adds another player into the mix. The story mode is very fun, but it is definitely made for two people. Without a co-op partner the game really just isn't as epic as it can be. You will become quite frustrated with the AI partner. Mercenary mode is interesting, but I couldn't stand playing it for more than a few times. The DLC Multiplayer is laughable and should be avoided. So there's not too much replay value unless you have a friend who hasn't beaten the game yet. The story is pretty lame, and I didn't really find myself caring one bit about it. I'm sure RE fanboys loved it, but to a noob in the RE series it was just lame. Overall I would say it is worth a RENTAL. You will not be playing through this game more than a couple times, and after you beat the game once it becomes far too easy. (You will have all the good guns and what not). The game is near perfect, but the lack of any replay value really hurts this game.

Street Fighter IV
I have only rented Street Fighter IV, but I feel like I played it enough to give an opinion. Street Fighter IV is one of the best fighting games I have ever played. It has sweet graphics, smooth gameplay, and interesting characters. First off the game is beautiful. Easily one of the prettiest games I have ever seen or played. The gameplay matches the graphics by being smooth and responsive. You can button mash, or you can use the many combos to unleash fury upon your opponents. No matter how you play it's a blast. The only thing I had problems with was the learning curve for single player. AI opponents are brutal, and the last boss is a bitch to take down. I wasn't playing on a SFIV controller or arcade stick, and I think had I had one of those it would have been a lot easier. I didn't get a chance to play online, but I have heard that it is pretty lagless, and is very enjoyable. For fighting fans Street Fighter IV is a MUST BUY, as for gamers like me you have to at least rent it to play this awesome game.

Borderlands
Rented it on Friday and I'm loving it. It should come naturally to you if you are a fan of FPS, and with RPG thrown into the mix it makes it even more better. The gameplay involves you taking quests from many different folks on Pandora who need your help, from going out and ending a bandits reign of terror, finding food or other essentials for someone, or unravelling the mystery behind "The Vault" there are around 30 missions or so relating to the main story of Borderlands and over 100 more side quests. You also get to pick one of the 4 character classes, Mordecai (The Hunter) Who specialises in Sniper Rifles and Pistols (Mainly revolvers), Lilith (The Siren) Can fire weapons faster than other classes and specialises in weapons with elemental abilities (The Soldier) Who specialises in combat rifles and shotguns and Brick (The Berserker) Who solves problems with his fists and explosive weapons. Borderlands also sports a unique graphic style which is a welcome change from say the gritty realistic graphics of Fallout. Also, there a literally thousands of weapons to find, each with a unique capability, some can also use elemental powers such as shock, burn, corrode or even explode. Also once you finish the game you can go for a second playthrough with all your stats and face harder challenges. Overall Borderlands is well worth buying as it will keep you going for a while, and is also a good rent if you need something to satisfy your gaming needs with. |
