That is technically how online play was meant to work to begin with. Meeting random people quickly to start up a match.

As for the people on XBLA well they are not 10 years olds, and even if they are there are the same amount on the PSN.

I have found awesome people to play with and if you play only with your RL friends on both XBLA or PSN then your missing out on playing with great people.

You sound like you have a lot of fun but there is a reason to play the random match making because it was built into the game. Give it a shot from time to time and I'm sure you'll make more friends, might not happen right away but I think you make friends for sure.

Don't get me wrong, I play with random people all the time. What I'm saying is that I would much rather play with IRL friends as well. Its just not much fun playing with people who you don't know. They're usually either obnoxious, quiet, or don't even have a mike. I'm much more inclined to play online games when I'm playing them with friends.

Alright, that's what I wanted to hear. I get that playing with friends is good but there are nice people out there. Its just liking joining a new forum in a way, in a way. lol. It just takes time to find good people that will even talk back to you, sometimes backing them up and watching their backs is a good way to start talking to people. Works well with CoD.
