Noob Wants a PS3 or 360?

Alright Guys, Lord Gamington here from NP...
He wants reasons why he should get one!!!

I like the graphics, the games, and the price of a PS3,
But I don't like the 2 players...

360 has the "MW2 Elite" Package coming out in Wal-Mart...
I'm thinking about getting that. $400 is alot of money tho..

360 Pros: 4 ppl, Halo (*shrugs*), cheaper console (arcade) and I know more people with them..
cons, paying for online i DONT wanna do.

So can you guys help me out?
Obviously, your going to want me to get a 360, but have you had problems with them? What are your thoughts?

I love my 360. It doesn't sound like you're thrilled about Halo but if you have any interest in it, it will probably only grow if you keep playing. I only liked it before I got it, but now I love the game. The online is amazing, especially worth it if you have good friends who also have 360's. And the party system only helps that arguement. Although its a matter of opinion, I also like the game selection for the 360 way more. If the price of online is the only thing you don't like, I'd say get a 360. Sure it sounds bad to pay for online, but its only about fifty dollars a year if I remember right. Really not that much, even if you don't have a job.

Really? As far as I know Halo is and will always be a Xbox exclusive. Of course I could be wrong and if so I'd like to ask you to cite the source you got the information from...

And like I said, its not great paying for online, however, it's fairly cheap and in my opinion worth it for a great online experience.

Xbox 360 is awesome, the features on that console is too great and hell yes payin 50 to play online is worth it! And if you aint dowm with that i got two words for ya.... SUCK IT!! jk lol

Sony will be releasing a party system on to the ps3, next firmware update. :P

Anyways, this belongs in multi-console.

In my opinion, paying for Xbox Live isn't all a bad thing, you are getting more than just online gaming for your money, you can download exclusive demos before anywhere else, access things such as Facebook, Twitter, LastFM, Sky Player (UK Only), Netflix (US), Video chat with friends, Xbox Live parties for up to 8 people to chat at the same time.

You also get great exclusives such as Halo, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Banjo-Kazooie, Fable, Left 4 Dead (Yeah I know it's on PC too but this is about 360/PS3) and also many games that are released on both platforms sometimes are better recieved on 360, take Fallout 3 for example 360 got 9.6/10, PS3 got 9.4/10, also in this case the 360 got access to DLC months before PS3.

So overall, I would say go for a 360, but really, don't let the fact that you have to pay to play online put you off, it is so worth it because you get more than just an online gaming experience.

Paying for online is gay? You're paying for quality online play.

Until anyone can actually come up with a decent enough reason to pick PS3 over 360, I'm definitely suggesting you get a 360. The value is better, you're not limited to what DVDs you can watch on it, the exclusives on the 360 are much better and generally, it's much better than the PS3.

Also, I did some sums a while ago about this topic. It turns out, you can get an Xbox and everything you will ever need for it (barring the price of live each year, but one year included), for the price of a standard PS3. Yes, the prices may have changed a bit since then, but it's past the point. The PS3 is over-valued.

I would have to side with xbox 360 because in my opinion i think the 360 is better than the ps3. The reason why i choose 360 over the ps3 is because i believe the 360 has better games. Sure the ps3 has better graphics but better gameplay beats graphics anyday. Even though you have to pay for xbox live your paying for better a better online server than the free server of ps3. You also get more out of xbox live like gold membership can watch movies, download demos ect. ect. Even the fruit of the ps3 final fantasy XIII is coming to the xbox 360. So if you think about it xbox 360 has much more to offer than the ps3. It also depends on what games you like also. I think the xbox 360 is better suited for shooters while the ps3 is better for fighter. Also Halo will not come out as a game for the ps3, its only xbox 360 exclusive game. I'll type more later because im in school right now.
