Well I personally love getting achievements. So I decided to make a thread so that people could discuss their achievements, and help each other out by giving tips on getting achievements. So post about the games you're having trouble with right now, or post whatever else you want.

Left 4 Dead - Untouchables Achievement

That is one hard as hell achievement!

Also, Seriously 2.0 from Gears 2 O_o I've only killed 5000 or so enemies

I actually know a strategy for the untouchable one. At the end of no mercy there is this room at the top of a set of stairs. Right when you come out of sewers move everybody into this room. Make sure to stand at the very back of the room, across from the door. Have one person go and activate the radio. Now wait for the tanks to disappear, this could take a while though. Now jump onto what I think is an A/C unit. If you don't just on it from the top of the stairs you will take damage. Now run for the copter!

Now Im not sure about this becuase I watched my younger brother and a friend of mine playing GoW2 when it came out..when your doing story mode and your in the last lvl of the game where you are in the robot/giant creature thing. Theres alot of monsters you can kill just from that one lvl so Id think doing that over and over and over would be the quickest way to get the Seriously 2.0 achievement but thats coming from a wii player and not a 360 owner

That is actually a very good strategy. I would just enjoy the game and eventually get the achievement myself.

Call of Duty : World at War

Rough Economy
Demonstrated killer economic sensibilities by taking down 3 enemies with a single bullet.
This achivement seems almost impossible but in the mission "Vendetta" there are many places where you have a great chance in getting it. On parts where there are large groups of enemies on the rooftops shooting you or your team mates on the ground make sure there are a large group. Then carefully time and aim at the person in front and you should have a nice clean shot with a sniper bullet.

Purple Heart
Awarded for demonstrating courage in the face of adversity.
This achievment doesn't rea;;y tell you much about it but it's really easy. All you need to do is die several times on Veteran Difficulty. I'm guessing about 10-15 times. Most of the time you don't even need to try.

Grand Theft Auto IV

Finish Him
You completed 10 melee counters in 4 minutes.
The best area to complete this is to be inside a hospital. While in a hospital cops don't usually attack you. Start punching the injured people in chairs one by one. The people who see you won't run away. So you will have plenty of people to punch in under 4 minutes. Also when your down on health there are med kits everywhere.

Gobble Gobble
You got a turkey in 10-pin bowling.
Now people think this is a hard achievment but if you do this right you will get it in no time. There is a trick to get a strike everytime. All you got to do is move Niko 2 steps to the left. Then hold the analog stick back for about 1 second at least and then push it forward. It may take a few tries but you'll get the hang of it.

Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie
You killed a Rockstar in multiplayer.
Simply kill someone in a online team death match. As simple as that.

I know a way too. But it's kinda hard. On the finale on dead air there's this glitch. If you hit the turret with your weapon a few times. Climb up the car behind the turret and jump and land on the turret. You can bounce up and land on the planes wing. I've seen people do this. If everyone gets up after you started the pump you can survive. But it's hard not get hit by something when youre gonna jump down

Doesn't that achievment only give you like 15-30 gamerscore? Not worth trying to get unless you play to enjoy the game not for the achievments. You'll get it before you know it.

Yeah I have heard of that too. I just found the other one to be easy. It's really annoying when you are about to get to the rescue vehicle and someone gets hit. It's happened to me a couple times. It's just a giant buzzkill.

Does anyone know a good way to get the Dr. Robotniks Mean Bean Machine achievement on the Sonic Genesis Collection? That game is so frustrating and I need help beating it.
