RUMOR: Halo: Reach - Leaked Snapshots

US, November 5, 2009 - A wave of alleged Halo: Reach off-screen photos were posted on the Major League Gaming forums today. But are they real?

Gameplay details list a new carbine that shoots needles, a battle rifle with 12 rounds, and a new HUD that displays your squadmates' health and names. The HUD also displays perks, such as sprinting, cloaking, and halogram.

We're skeptical how legit these really are given how fuzzy the photos came out. And who knows, these could have been done in photoshop and uploaded to the person's TV via a computer.

But this is a message to anyone who tries to take photos of something you shouldn't: Hold the camera steady! Check the screens below and give us your thoughts. Do you BELIEVE?

Looks fake to me. Nice job but still fake. Most phones have video on them and he chose to take snap shots. Give me a break.

Who knows? He obviously wasn't supposed to be taking footage of them and taping a tv with your phone is a whole lot more obvious then snapping a few pictures while no one is looking. Besides, a lot of phone video cameras turn out really blurry and the screen shots may be better quality anyway.

Anyway, it seems hard to fake but its still possible. Either way, looks cool. Needler thingy looks intense.

Why does the BR always change just a bit? You play halo 3 from 2 and the scope looks huge, now this? I beleave these shots are real because the Br is different. Just kidding, but like Xanthrose said, the guy obbviously was'nt supposed to be taking pictures, so the pictures were probably hastily taken when nobody was looking.

Jared, if you would read the original post you would have read that it's a different battle rifle with only 12 rounds. Possibly a single shot rifle. Noob.
