Yes I have all 3 consoles, and as far as I know, most of my friends are on Xbox Live chatting and versing each other. I think this price drop is a great idea by Microsoft and I predict that business will be booming ofr them!

Now I just need to get my 360 repaired.

Which is one of the problems... I don't think I've ever met someone with an Xbox that hasn't sent it for repair. My best friend just did the other day too.

I hasn't sent it in for repair and I've had it for a long while now :P

Honestly it's a cool idea, but like Splodey said considering anyone who has ever wanted a 360 now has one, it shouldn't attract too much attention, although I am sure people who haven't gotten one yet will love the new sexy black box :P

I am going to try and save for the Slim PS3, I have been interested in that for a long while, and already having the 360 and Wii and a lot of friends who own the PS3 as well, it seems like the better deal in my eyes.

But this is also a great oppurtunity and plan from Microsoft.

I already have an Xbox and it's not Elite sadly, but that a pretty nice price drop, the Elite looks more smexy in my opinion

I think about the only thing that is going to help Microsoft is to give Live away for free. I won't even bother with my 360 until they do.

It'll never happen. I mean 5 bucks a month isn't even that bad. I don't think true gamers or people who are interested in the Xbox mind paying the 5 bucks a month.

Yeah. The whole price drop thing was annoying seeing as they dropped the price like 2 weeks after I bought my Elite. I might actually consider buying the PS3 slim, since it's more than half the PS3's original price.
