Ok, so my cousin brought his controller from his xbox so we clicked the Xbox Guide on the controller and the lights just flash and then when we stop, it stops flashing. does anyone know why?

anyways, after that, we press the button on the xbox then we press it on the controller, so the lights go around the xbox light and then it ends on the first one (top left). isn't it supposed to end on the 2nd one (top right)? please help.

Are both of the controllers on? The first controller to connect with the Xbox always has its top left light lit up, then the second Xbox controller has its top right light lit up etc. etc.

As for your first problem you probably forgot to sync the controller with the Xbox =P
