Ugh...why don't you just play and ask if you can join someone's party. I have never once asked people on a forum to just add me. I play, and if I like you I will add you. Just speak up during games and ask people to play with you.

I'm not trying to be a ************************, I'm just telling him that it's a good way to get friends. When you add random kids from a thread you have no idea if they are douches or not. When you play with people for a while you can get to know em a bit.

Not really... I find that if you play with someone for some time it still won't matter if you like them, just if you work well in the game. It also doesn't matter if you ask on a forum for friends instead of in game.

I have friends on my list that suck too but I don't even think they're cool. All the dude wants is friends, I don't think he cares if they are cool or not. Plus if he adds them from here it will be easier to talk to them. ;D

splodey is right. i had played resistance for a while and ended up on the same team as a group of guys that seemed real cool. i asked them if i could add them and they said yeah, so we moved on to CoD4 as a group and we been playin together for a while.

then came the time i added someone at random from this exact message board and the kid ended up being an idiot. i felt bad for deleting him off my friends list but it had to be done.

i find it best to add people i have played with and enjoyed playing with.
