If you have to ask, "Whats Starcraft?", I don't know what to say other then one of the classic RTS's that pioneered the mass attack, crazy fun online, crazy custom user maps, and furthered the whole Koreans will pwn you on Bnet thing.

To be honest my new PC I built was built to play this game when it hits some day. It sounds dumb to some people but I can't count the hours I spent playing this game. From playing on the school network during computer class to hours of missed calls cause of dial up, its a game I love.

What is StarCraft II?

StarCraft II is the ultimate competitive real-time strategy game, and the sequel to the hit original, StarCraft. The game will include three completely distinct and balanced races, the protoss, terran, and zerg, which have been overhauled and re-imagined with a number of new units for each, as well as new tricks for some of the classic units that are returning.

Well with that out of the way who else can't wait for this game to hit? I know once I get my hands on it you can say good bye to my social life, friends, family, eating, and work for about a month.

Yes Starcraft II, the game that was supposed to come out in October, then moved to December, and even further delayed. Who knows when it'll come out.

I used to play Starcraft expansion, Terran ftw. But I'm not one of those pros who want to win in under 5min. Takes the fun away. I like to make 24 Battleships lol and kill everyone

o.O 24 battlecruisers?! man yamato cannons like crazy ive always been more of a protoss player those guys are great and yea Starcraft II is taking god knows how long to come out but when it does its gonna be awesome

mmm yea i cant wait for this game
but im a bit concerned about all the hype its getting... that usually leads to dissappointment, even if the game is amazing... it can never live up to a dream

i plan to ignore it until its released
but typical blizzard... always late...

This game is taking too long to come out!

I loved the classic Starcraft. From the looks of it, the sequel will have even MORE stratedgy involved (which is a good thing). It gets me angry to see games like Halo Wars to come out, because there's little stratedgy involved, especially compared to Starcraft.

But wow, I remember playing online for hours and hours nonstop on Starcraft. The multiplayer is just so.. addictive.

It's been 11 years since the first one came out.. I just can't wait any longer.

11 years? that makes me a young kid when i first played it, remember playing it at LAN parties that along with GTA 2

I've never gotten the chance to play Starcraft. I'll definitely look into Starcraft 2 though.

I loved Starcraft, especially seeing it get recognition on the classic Web Show of Pure Pwnage. Starcraft II is like a dream come true. I need a powerful PC NAO O_O

funny thing bout SC2 even the Demo vids lag LOL!!!! POWERFUL COMP IS NEEDED to play this game on full settings... maybe a comp that can play crisis on full settings might do the trick eh? Protoss FTW! CARRIER NOOB RUSH FTW!

funny I see this thread today cuz i just got off my pc playing Command and Conquer 3 and I cannot get past the fact that its a complete StarCraft knockoff, it looks nice BUT the controls are horrible and the game is slow.. dont even get me started on the tutorial It SUCKS A** serves me right i should have not strayed from the SC path,lol
