Who here has played the original Starcraft and Starcraft Brood War? and who enjoyed it

ive got both and play the campaign and offline with a friend I thought it was a really good game myself im just waiting for starcraft 2 which has been trying to come out for god knows how long now

never heard of it. What are the graphics and features like? What console/system is it for? Whats the objective of the game?

Its a RTS(real time strategy) game for the PC where u choose between three races of ppl the terran(humans) the Zerg(weird organic aliens) and protoss(high tech photon aliens) lol srry best description i can think of. u can play either the campain which is the story behind it all or play online and fight other players. as for graphics i posted some below.

Terran base:

Zerg Base: (sorry i couldnt find any that was just the base so its in a battle from the protoss point of view the lightning is a protoss attack)

Protoss Base:

some of the buildings were stuck really close together but u get to choose where u place ur buildings

It was alright...it suffered from Blizzard's tendency to make rushing the best strategy and have the humans underpowered (the humans in Warcraft 3 are by far one the worst races to pick) It was pretty fun though when human or computer wasn't wailing on me.

Was?! WAS?!?! How can you say was to a game like that? It still is a great game lol. If I could find my brood wars CD I would play it right now... Those screen shots really made me want to play it....

I think the like War3, I still stuck to the custom maps so I would not just get walked over all the time
