I think a character theme tourney would be rather cool. although there is not much characters lets say for Fire emblem. there is only Marth and Ike.

But i still like the character Theme idea

A sword-user tournament: Ike, Marth, Metaknight, Link, Toon Link, Pit

A pokemon-themed tournament: Lucario, Jigglypuff, Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer (which is like 3 people in one, so the total is 6 people, in a way).

Manly Tournament: Manly characters only - Snake, Ganon, Mario, Captain Falcon, and possibly more, but not Marth!

Mario-themed tournament: I want this to happen before anything else ^_^

I hope that Yoshi's allowed in!! :P

I d like to see a heavyweight tournament and a sharpshooters tournament... Only characters that have more than 1 projectile should go in... :P

whhhaaa? marth not manly? xD i guess that means no marth for me.
I think this idea is a really great one.

The poll choice that seems to be second best so far is a Doubles tournament with Items Off, along with Team Attack on. Shall we do that, or a character themed tournament? It's all up to you

.

By the way, all these special occasion tournaments will have special awards soon I hope.

I agree on this ^ Would be better than Neutrals and Bans all the time...I mean come on show Delfino, Halberd, and Rainbow Cruise some love too
