I figured since we haven't hosted an official SSBB tournament in a while and with the official start of Summer today, that I would like to host tournaments based on the ideas you all provide. We will be hosting regular tournaments in conjunction, so no need to ask more of that. Please make your selection via poll as to which kind of tournament you wish to see next. If it is not shown on the poll, feel free to express your thoughts. Only the ideas supported by the majority will pass on, so we will need to agree upon.

I think it's best that you just stick with standard tournaments, or maybe more tier-specific tournaments.

Game/Character-themed tourneys would not work as well because there's going to be an outstandingly good character in every series that everyone will use, (e.g.: Toon Link/Falco) and most people will be excluded or forced to pick up a main to participate.

Doubles are nice; just without items. Dubz with items is just hectic and entirely luck based.

Banned stages only is really fun, and mostly for the s***s and giggles.

Falcon Punch, gets repetitive LOL

Singles with items on can go either way as long as players know how to use items.

I still notion that the best format is Singles no items.

Dont forget about clan wars. Been months since there's been one.

And the tournys should be non stop. One after another instantly after a tourny is over. If not, have more than one goin at the same time. I think 16 entrances is enough for a normal based singles tourny.

For doubles, there can be lag issues. So how bout havin a ec and wc only. That could run alot smoother without lag posts and resulting in droppin out or usin replacements.

I voted Falcon Punch for the lulz.
I can see a problem forming from that, though. The first person to Punch WILL lose.

Go see the EC vs WC thread and see how many WC we have signed. I dont think that tourney will not be a success if we do that. Unless theres some WC brawlers who wont show their faces or have a really small tourney.

And about the tourneys. I like it to be standard. We should play by AiB's rules like banned stages, CP stages, etc, etc.

Well we should have clan wars like boo said. This might be carzy but have two tournments at the same time but you can only join one tournment.

I think we should have a tournament with only mario characters, zelda characters and Pokemon characters.
