No strategies, characters or levels are banned just yet.

And honestly I doubt they will be.
I hope the game isnt that easy to circumvent.
Melee wasnt.

I got a question will the matches have a certain time of day like a time window that the match will take place or will it happen whenever we happen to be on at the same time

And how can we tell that our opponent is online or not?

As explained in the FAQ.

You have 3 days to complete the match.
It is up to you and your matched opponent to work that out.

You can do it at 2AM.. or you can do it at 12PM.... just make sure it is completed within 3 days of it being given to you. This shouldn't be that hard really.. you should be excited about the tournament!

What if? Who knows how it will be? I doubt we'll have that many overseas matches, but I think if it became a huge problem, we'd most likely divide into a European and American brackets. I doubt that will be the case however. Most likely we'd just deal with it like we do with other online games?

AWESOME!!!! Cant wait for them to get underway! I will have the game at midnight! Dont know bout anyone else, but I couldnt sleep knowing the game Ive been waiting for 2 years is on the selves and I dont have it! That would kill me! I will definately be practicing up for it! So everyone, brace yourselves for a challenge!

Sure.. so long as you have a Friend Code and whoever is participating in the tourney enters the tournament. I dont see why ZG and Yoshii couldnt be in the same tournament.

I can confirm there no lag between uk and usa

. Considering everyone talk about brawl i would have thought more peopel who enter this torney.
