Everyone who enters should be honest for the most part. There's no sense in lying repetitively just to win an award. Also, it would probably be best to record your matches in case of that, cheaters, hackers, controller moderations, etc. (security purposes)

Capture cards, DVD/VCR recorders, or camcorders work, so it can't be that hard to find something to record with.

when I use to play warcraft 3 and I was in a league... You had to say who the winner was and send in a replay.. we can do that with brawl now. If theres any dispute on who was the winner a mod can watch the replay.

nice dude i totally love the idea of a tourney but i got couple of questions.

Q: will the tourneys ONLY be in duel style or will they have variations like free 4 player free-for-all???

Q: shouldn't we be giving each other smash codes since we can only get records from there????

I'm not a mod, but there will be more than one tournament. Each one is three days long at most, but it's up to Reinhart and other mods when the next one will be. Should be two tourneys at a time as well from what I understand.

Little correction there..

Each ROUND will take 2 days depending on how long people take.
Each tourney will take 6 days tops again.. depending on how long people decide to take... they have 2 days to complete a match from when it is assigned to them.

Want to know if youll be in time to enter a tourney?

CHECK THE THREAD AND SEE IF ANY SLOTS ARE OPEN.

Im not going to speculate on each person's schedule to see if they might be able to make the first 2 tournaments.

Okay, so 2 days, not 3. 2 days I imagine would be more than enough time, but I've never seen an online tournament play out so far.

Now, will this be the thread that we post when we want to be in the tourney or will there be another thread? Just the only question I've had.

Can you start each tournament at a different hours tomorrow.? Like one at 12 am one at 12pm and another like at 7 or 8 pm. (just suggested times, Pacific time) That way the people who wont get brawl till sunday morning or afternoon have a chance to enter.
