Special Occasion Tournament: Marksman Tournament





We know them, we love them, we spam them to death..that's right, projectiles.

This tournament will be a projectile themed character tournament.

Note: This idea was conjured up by Isaac.

16 player tournament, 4 reserve players.

Please read before entering.

First come first serve.

50 posts minimum required for entry.
VIPs are exempt from this post count rule.


Post only to report your matches (as well as to sign up). Solve disputes before posting, perhaps talking to the moderator in charge of that tournament.

Both players should post too, one to report and the other to confirm (not required, but appreciated nonetheless).

Anyone caught lying will result in an immediate DQ from the tournament, and possible later ones.

Only members in good standing, with their SSBB friend code entered correctly into their profile may participate.

After you have entered, you should add all of the other members participating in that tournament. Thus you will be ready to play anyone, anytime that you are asked (within reason).

The tournament will begin as soon as all 16 entrants have been verified.

You have 3 days to play your match in each round (each round should last no longer then 3 days).

I have made it this long due to the fact that people are busy, what with school/work/college.

The whole tournament should take no longer than 12 days to finish, from beginning to end.

If one contestant is absent for a long period of time (over 3 days), or is DQ, a reserve will take their place.

We reserve the right to disallow anyone, for any reason that we see fit.

Please pay special attention to the rules..failure to comply or follow these rules will result in an immediate disqualification.

Characters that may be used ONLY: Diddy Kong, Pikachu, Lucario, Toon Link, Lucas, Ness, Link, Pit, Zelda/Sheik, R.O.B, Samus, Olimar(May be extended or shortened)

Items: Off

1st stage: Neutral stage(Battlefield, FD, Smashville, Yoshi's Island)
2nd stage: Loser's pick(Counterpick stage)
3rd stage: Loser's pick(Counterpick stage)

Disqualifications:
- Not attempting to get your match finished within the allotted time, due to procrastinating/not responding to your opponent.

- Using unnecessary profanity, or having poor sportsmanship (Taunting/Bragging are fine by us, however keep it clean and make sure not to go overboard).

- Possessing multiple accounts.

- Arguing about anything with the Moderators.

- Cheating. (Still unknown as to what is possible)

falco shouldn't be in this. His reflector is an anti-projectile, not a projectile. It ruins the spirit of the tournament if he can just kick everything back into their face. Not to mention he already has unfair advantages all around the board.

But eh, it's Josh's decision now. I guess it isn't as big a deal if he thinks it isn't.

I'll enter with... one of them. Been meaning on learning a projectile user at long last. I usually stick with hand to hand combat boys.
