ya that should be if you click wi-fi 1 player then it shows your mii on the world and your number is below your mii
but you could put all your wi-fi games friendcodes just go to qiuck links and click "edit friend codes" and put you friendcode on the games you have and once you do that save it and your friend codes should be at the bottom of your level gauge

If you read the rules the matches are 1v1, they are not a 12 player race.
