Remember that it is a backwards race, so you can cut through Grass, Mud, Sand etc without it reducing your speed. Heed that and use it to your advantage

I haven't seen use that method...

We were in the woodz and Panda appear for a wild and he wanted to race me or else he will kill me and i raced him and ended up Pwn'ing him :\ Panda left me in the woods for free.
