The older Pokemon games, like Red and Blue, had the best starter Pokemon.

Thoes Pokemon are still used and treated like icons 'till this day. And, thoes were the first Pokemon ever introduced to Pokemon gaming. I am an older Pokemon fan, so naturally, that is what I beleive are the best starters.
