"Ease of Use" Tier list / Discussion

The idea behind this is to determine the easiest characters to "just pick up" are.

Not the characters which have the easiest time in tournaments.
Not the characters which are easiest to get "pro" with.
Or play at an advanced level with.


The easiest characters to just get to a certain level(average) with, the fastest. I.e the characters with the lowest learning curve from the beginning, and those with simple and easy to learn playstyles.

I'm just going to start with what I think, not going to do ALL the characters since I haven't played them all, this is where the discussion comes in. Discuss what you think is right, what you think is wrong, what i missed out.

I'd say GAW is the easiest to play with.Very simple, very good.

I think that Fox was such an easy character to learn.

sonic would be the hardest to just pick up and play because he can be very dangours if you have no idea how to use him you will kill yourself like no other and he for advanced players that know how to play mind games and such so you can master all of his different combos

Ike? yes i would say he is second on the list but Under the pink puff Kirby since in my opinion the guys i know that play him are fairly of what you can call "Good" when it comes to other characters i would probably say Mk under Ike since people get to average with him fairly quick

Hardest? Definitely not. Maybe one of the harder ones though.
And Kirby is more brand n00b friendly, I'd say ike is easier for people who know the mechanics a bit better.

Top teirs= Meta-knight, Snake, King Dedede, Falco & Diddy Kong.

Easiest to use is Meta-Knight. Hardest maybe...Diddy Kong?

Talkin bout how easy it is to GET GOOD with chars. Not easiest to get pro with

lol kirby seems to be the easyest to pick up and play with also i think meta knight too

Meta Knight is one of the easiest to pick up...one of the hardest, if not, they are the heardest character...Ice Climbers, you have to learn grabs, and if your a wifi person, laggy grabbing

edit: diddy thong may take a bit, a lot of banana combos to learn, also snake should be low, a GOOD snake learns ALL his ATs and crap with his Nades, also, the timeing and crap like that

hmm if not kirby then Pika would be a candidate but now i am thinking about spammers. so Marth yea easy to get the hang of with his grab slashes and all.

hardest to use is debatable i mean sure wolf's recovery is hard to use as well as learnin ghow he works but then what about Fox and his fast speed? or Ness i honestly think the hardest character to pick up at a particularly low level is wolf because he's easy to die with but then at a more advanced stage Link is pretty hard to use even though many see him as a noob character
