add in jab cancels and drop off spikes.

f-smash should only be used in roll baiting

only use d-tilt for a spike

use f-tilt as a main kill move. it's quick and powerful

use u-tilt a lot. deceptive range and stays out long as hell. good for punishing air dodges

PIVOT GRABZZZZZ

never erupt

use quick draw only for a quick approach to keep the opponent pressured

counter to slow down for a bit in the air then punish edgehoggers with reverse aether

rar'd b-air for the fuxin win

f-air whore all the time

n-air at low %'s

whore walk-off spikes

MAIN STRATEGY:
defensive as hell. bait an punish always. at low %'s, whore n-air and jab cancel. always try a spike.
only go offensive when u know ur opponent like the back of ur hand, then keep up pressure wish quick draw approaches and f-air/n-air whoring. when u've got em in a panic, start improvising according to their playstyle for a good kill.

AGAINST CAMPERS:
airdodge approach for TL and Link. then anticipate either a jump (use aether or n-air) or a roll (possibilities are endless)

for the rest of them, stay patient. make them come to u. if they don't and are very patient, SLOWLY advance. i mean slowly as hell XD

MIND GAMES:
roll bait for f-smash. anticipate spot dodges and grab/reverse u-smash
grab mindgames 2gud
whore n-air against dodge queers
dont forget ur 2nd jump...EVER

so yeah....good guide overall. could use some revising in some parts though

Why the hmm?
Ike doesn't have many good options most of the time on offence

any good player could eat away at ikes options as the match goes by. Then what? "overpower them and finish with eruption" or bait and punish like u should?

i didint disagree with any of those moves, I used to have that style b4 when I mained ike. Everything you said was my old attack style.

just wanted to say something you may not have added or thought were not useful.

Nair: it also has a ending lag frame on it when landing which can hit opponents (Sonic) if they try to take advantage of his lag time. this is why Ike matches are annoying when i am Sonic.

Dont forget the tilts,
Dtilt: is a sexy spike if you can catch someone in ether edge guarding or recovering.
Ftilt: Nice reach and strong can also KO most characters at 150 (I think)
Utilt: slow on start up but great for catching someone off guard with trying to shield/ grab you. if i am right it protects his front side.

Fair: is a common approach with the help of mixing it up with Nair. it is also a 180 degree attack can even hit behind him if you are in the right position.

Eruption: breaks shield if fully charged close to impossible to perfect shield it since it comes out slow or so i think. I use it myself when someone is climbing on to the edge ether way they have to choose to drop down and grab the edge again or climb/jump up witch you will get hit by the eruption definitively if its fully charged.

there maybe more that i am leaving out but will let you know if i remember something that is not in there.
