High Voltage Software's first person shooter for the Wii, The Conduit, has made quite the splash in the gaming world. Featuring spectacular graphics and an overflowing trophy case of E3 2008 awards, the game is being touted as the FPS experience Wii owners have been waiting for. And yet, it's still without a publisher.

That long search may be over as High Voltage has announced that Nintendo themselves will be presenting The Conduit at the 2008 Penny Arcade Expo. While this is not in any way a confirmation that Nintendo is publishing The Conduit, it is a sign that Nintendo does not plan to ignore the "hardcore gaming crowd" anymore.

this game looks good so far. who knows? maybe it'll be the next big FPS.

See guys, PAX will actually have gamers rather than E3. Nintendo was just saving their big guns for when it really mattered. I wonder if The Conduit will be published by Nintendo, that would be so cool.

Yeah, it would be awesome. I'm really not sure if Nintendo would take that plunge, regardless of how promising it looks: not one of High Voltage's games I've played has been good. Still, it would be big, especially since HVG doesn't want to have a publisher until late in development.

Is that good or bad?

It would be cool to see Nintendo publish The Conduit. I just can't wait for this game! I already have money saved up for it, and it isn't even done yet!

lol there's another thread for that kind of talk but one can only hope (except hardcore 360 and PS3 users).

There's going to be A LOT of disappointed people if this game flops, but I don't think it will.
