This may have been posted a while ago, but this is good news none the less Today, High Voltage Software [currently making The Conduit] held a little press conference, if you will, to show off The Conduit. Anyone was welcomed to come by and demo the highly anticipated Nintendo Wii title "The Conduit". So far, everyone who has played it is very impressed. The graphics look beautiful, and the controls are superb. Anyways, High Voltage Software has officially announced that The Conduit will support 16-player online. The company also stated that you will be able to use WiiSpeak [being sold separately for $29.99] while playing against players either worldwide or with your friends. High Voltage Software said that their will be no friend code trading. You can simply pop into a match whenever you'd like and enjoy playing some 16-player deathmatch with other players. High Voltage Software is doing what other third-party companies can't do. Deliver a game that will truly experience the Nintendo Wii's power. This is a big step for future titles on the Nintendo Wii and hopefully we will see more titles more similar to The Conduit in the future. High Voltage Software finally stated that The Conduit will be released in early Q1 2009.

That's good news. But is deathmatch the only type of online mode? I want some team deathmatch also. And I want to be able to send whatever messages I want to any player, not pre-set ones like in MOH:h2.
You should also be able to jump right into a game your friend is in. That would make things a whole lot easier.

Dearth. Good word, and yes you are right. "Third-party" and "awesome" cannot usually be used to describe the same game when it comes to the wii, but for this game they very well could, and probably will. Also, does this mean you can voice-chat with non-friends?

Wow, I was going to wait for the review but I just might have to buy this baby with a reserve at game stop... On second thought Im just going to buy from walmart the day it comes out. When ever I buy new from Gamestop, the game is already opened. >.< I really hate when they do that.

This game just keeps getting better and better. It's definitely the type of game I always wanted to see on Wii. If only more third party developers were like High Voltage...
