So I don't think he is really John Adams the president, but has adopted Adams as his human persona and eventually took control of the Trust.

I actually saw it all coming. I watch a lot of Si-fi and Drama movies(Stupid ex-GF got me hooked on them) And I really saw every twist coming :/

Maybe not the 4 invisible drones at the end but all the story was pretty much a huge drama with a sci fi theme lol

the only compelling part of the story for me was its vagueness that leads to a lot of speculation.


in the end, i honestly don't think the developers have put much thought into the story past what happened in the game and it's vague as a result of that, not something done on purpose to spur debate.

Well, the ending was a really big (and obvious) lead off to a possible "The Conduit 2"

More than likely, to me, the only thing they would do is improve the capabilities of the character and add in new features.

I'm not too keen on understanding the storyline, but the ending was really the only thing that made things more interesting. The nation being under attack, and going off to save the world with someone who was used to start the attack. The very end was only interesting because it makes you wonder if they're going to make another game in which they track down Adams and make him pay. Because it makes things seem really kinda of senseless how they stop the lab and everything, but not show him going after Adams or anything.

Like I said, not really understanding on stuff like this, because I wasn't really paying attention at the time. until the end.

What's actually really cool about the story as a whole is the fact that the secret messages, the radio broadcasts, and the TV reports all have their own individual stories to tell.

Wonder who came up with that. I guess that explains why the second person at the ending said: There are worse things to suffer than exile. But it is also seems like John Adams has some treaty with the drudge. Interesting.

You have that right. The wall messages are the best part of story mode to me.

Truthfully...

Prometheus was NOT a drudge.... he was a program. WHICH created all the drudge. He was able to get into the ASE b/c he was a program. WHICH made the drudge..

Except he said it was him....the thought of downloading consciousness into a mechanical shell is an idea that is being explored in reality, so Prometheus is a Drudge. Besides during the credits, the unknown alien and Adams referred to Prometheus as a "traitor".
