yea i been playing multiplayer for awhile. and i noticed we get experance points for playing. and with these points we rank up. whats the point of it other then ranking? like COD4 and 5 you get XP and you can unlock new weapons and stuff.

Just shows how much you play, really.
Otherwise I believe there is no point whatsoever.

Yeah, it's only for seniority.

A high rank doesn't necessarily mean someone's really good. It's just how long you spend time on it. o:

I was actually expecting Exp. points to be lost when you lose a match, but oh well.

We really should lose experience when we do bad cuz a lot of high ranked players suck.

it's more like how much you kill or capture the ASE (i'm glad people get none for winning the match cause on CoD there were some low life noobs who just didn't do anything since their team was winning and they still got the match winning points >.>

Youre questions been answered, but like everyone said its just about how often you play. And I'm glad that you dont lose points, but mabye that only me. Since in Team Reaper I have been killing left and right and my team still almost lost.

Sorry, but I'm going to disagree.
Do you know how long it takes to rank up while in gold?
Currently I need 2600 XP to rank up, if I do ************************, I'll only get like 50 XP.
Obvioulsy, that's not really making progress towards the high amount of XP needed. And I have noticed it's a heck of alot harder to kill a high gold rank player, then a average joe silver player.
Why? Because when we try to snipe each other, we know what we're doing!.. We don't just stand still in one spot, or hopping around like an idiot so the other person gets an easy head shot. All that experience that we've gained through playing alot pays off, believe it or not.
[sarcasm] But what do I know? Practice obviously doesn't make perfect. =p[/sarcasm]

I'm one of those "average joe" silver players and I'm always thrown into matches with a ton of gold players and still get the most kills. Obviously they shouldn't be gold.

maybe you think of high silver as a high rank but if you play well/long enough to get a decent gold rank, you will do pretty darn good if not the best

whats the point of xp?
