The Team At A Glance
=========================================================== ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() =========================================================== The Lead ![]() Impish-Sand Veil@Leftovers EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd ~Stealth Rock ~Roost ~U-Turn ~Earthquake My favorite lead. I don't have to worry about most common leads, although trick scarfers can give me some trouble. I set up stealth rocks and U-Turn or EQ depending on the their lead. 252 HP / 252 Def give him good bulk and will allow himt o take alot of blows and roost off the damage. The end of the world ![]() Timid-Natural Cure@Life Orb EVs: 4 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spd ~Seed Flare ~Earht Power ~Hideen Power(fire) ~Air Slash I love this litte guy. It gives me great coverage for a good amount of my teams weak spots and can take a few hits himself. Hopefully someone is stupid enough to switch in heatran thinking i'll seed flare and I can outpredict and hit them with earth power. Air slash covers fighting and grass types while HP fire covers steel and ice types, hence the good coverage Crocune ![]() Bold-Pressure@Leftovers EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd ~Surf ~Calm Mind ~Sleep Talk ~Rest This is your tipical everyday suicune. come in on bullet punches, fire blasts etc and shrug off the damage and calm mind on the switch. He's absorbs all the water ande ice moves that most of my other team mates can't take. So undersued... ![]() Adamant-Technician@Choice Band EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spd ~Bullet Punch ~Superpower ~U-Turn ~Pursuit The most over used physical sweeper in the game. With choice band i'm hitting with a 591 base atk(sick) If you add that with technician and STAB, bullet punch can tear holes through alot of common threats. U-Turn is good for scouting and gets STAB, Superpower is good for blissey, although bullet punch might be just as good, and pursuit destroys latias, starmie, zam, etc. King of The Desert ![]() Jolly-Sand Stream@Expert Belt EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd ~Crunch ~Dragon Dance ~Fire Punch ~Rock Slide My hommie. I try to set up sand strom as quickly as possible, and bring him back if I need to. I like to wait til late game once napes and stuff like that are gone so I can safely set up some DDs and sweep. Rock slide is for mence and gyraods, fire punch covers grass and steel types, and crucnh covers the psychics and is great STAB move. I've come to take you away... ![]() Impish-Pressure@Leftovers EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Sp.Def ~Will-O-Wisp ~Shadow Sneak ~Pain Split ~Thunder Punch My favorite spin blocker and physical wall. I'll use WoW to cripple physical sweepers and stall them out while I hit with shadow sneak and pain split when my HP is getting low. Shadow sneak is there for priorit and STAB, and thunder punch is for gyrados. So that's the team. I'm not going to sit here and type out a big huge threat list because i'm lazyt and I don't have to. I know most of my threats and how to deall with them. My biggest concern is mixnape, if i'm not prepared, it will tear my teama part. Dusknoir can wall him a bit, but the fact that nape resists WoW really hurts me. So, start rating.

Nice team.
IF you're worried about mixape, quick attack on scizor is a 2HKO 100% of the time just so you know, so you could kill it if it comes in on a switch if you add quick attack. However, quick attack doesn't do much else IMO. Also, a bit heatran weak. I see suicune could switch in on it, but SS + repeated hits will wear down suicune a bit. Also, if it goes to sleep, it's kind of useless since now A LOT of stuff can kill suicune in the turns it needs to sleep. Maybe give tyranitar earthquake so you have two counters against heatran, since it's everywhere. Also, I kind of like this set on suicune. Suicune@Chesto Berry - Surf - Ice beam - Rest - Calm mind Free recovery ftw. :0 /suggestion

I don't like quick attack on scizor cause like you said, it really dosen't do much else.
I was thinking about EQ for tar, and you really don't see that on him lately. Strangly enough, this team hasen't come across heatran yet o.0 I preferr rest talk suicune over every other cune

I like the Gliscor lead. That should see more use. It's a great anti-meta lead.
Struggles with nape leads a bit though I imagine. Swampert leads too :0. Noir fits on the team because you lack a fight resist so I can't argue with that. However, if you wanna justify T-tar's use, you should probably use something else that at least isn't hurt by the sand. Maybe Swampert over Cune? (he struggles even more with mixape lol) But yea, getting rid of tar really might not be a bad idea. You could run a bulky DD gyara or something in his place? Anyway, teams that run T-tar don't have to be straight up SS teams so it's totally cool to keep him around. Not to mention the fact that while your walls lose HP, so do your opponents :P. lol, just some random thoughts.

Well I outspeed swampert and we both set up rocks, so I just set up rocks and immeaditly switch to cune.
I was thinking maybe Flygon or gyra over T-Tar, but I haven't decided yet. I'm starting to think every team has mixape problems. He has too much coverage>.<

Sandstorm damage seems to be annoying, so you might want to replace Ttar. This is more a matter of preference, as you might enjoy the ability to change the weather.
Froslass will beat your scizor toe-on-toe, if not factoring in stealth rocks breaking the focus sash. With a bit of prediction it can also use HP:Fire on the switch. Your lead gliscor is interesting, but swamperts can still decide to attack you, azelfs can get a nasty plot then OHKO you while you set up rocks (I think. o_o). |
