Site War Try-out thread - NP vs. BFC

*bites tongue* that's just how I know fight ddm... I actually didn't smash as I usually do, figured I'd try relying on quicker moves with less down time. He could be slightly bitter that I hit him with 2 charged Fsmashs to deal 2 stocks from him, which was the reason he lost. Also, I'm a casual brawler, I find taking things too serious will ruin some of the fun. His diddy really did peanut gun camped, in his way saying "cmon! get at me!"

I can't change my playstyle if it allows me to win.

Ahh, I see... but you only won 1/5 matches, so you may want to be open to some change for the other 80% of the time ^^;;. The 2 matches I lost of 5, I started playing the characters used against me, so hopefully next time I'm quicker and I can beat them :3

I did start to noticed in certain games with kite's mk, but I did manage to tag a game off everyone 'cept bunny. This whole war was a learning experience, I've never even been in a war of any kind let alone site. I glad I did get this chance though, it allowed me to improve somewhat, learning on the fly lol.

I'm surprised i did as well as i did though, especially while in my slump.
playing these new guys really helped me sample more and more skilled playstyles. Especially for ganondorf. Helped a lot for friendlies. Crimson's pikachu is soooo hard to keep up with. All that qac. Definitely helped me up my reflexes, surprised my ganon beat his pika in the warmup.

His lucas also showed me how to abuse brinstar like nappy keeps telling me to learn how to do for wario, though i use it for ganondorf now xD

I really wanted to play in this war, but I guess it was for the best that I wasn't selected, seeing as all our best Brawlers are having tough times, as I already have trouble facing them. I probably wouldn't have won many matches xD but still, I would have loved to play for the home team in the war.

We aren't doing good, looking at the current score. And NaPPy is hell bent on trying everything he can to make NP lose, I swear, lol.

Only played NaPPy so far. Taught me lots of stuff from just playing a few matches with him. Can't wait to brawl the rest of you!

Well, it's riding on 007 pretty much now. Since if he gets some 2:0 matches, we can come back on top.

Also, I think i can take akira. The matchup is pretty largely in my favor, but i ain't gonna underestimate her.

Any info on this lucas loving chick?

All i know is what i heard from crimson that she's a more campy lucas than he is. And he was pretty dang aggressive, so i don't know if that means much.

Dat Lucas of hers is Amazing good enough to beat M2K, watch out for those Magnet Pulls they could Cause lots of Combos and is a good Recovery move
