A Gamer's recession

Since the economy is effecting just about everything, people are going to want more for their money with good quality, and I feel that way about games. I have to cut-back on games that I would get just to have. Mainly games that are single player. I starting to get more games that have a lot of content, or if it has online. Until the necessary things in life get cheaper. I'm going to have to resort to this method.

I agree....that means all the 3rd party devlopers for the Wii might be out of jobs soon. Everybody wants to get a great game that they can get thier money's worth out of but the reality is that crap games will always be make for a quick buck so the smartest thing to do is to wait until the game is reviewed and read the review on it. Or just wait until a friend get's it and play his copy or even rent it first. That way if it sucks you can save yourself some money if it's crappy.

Crappy

That sucks, knowing that the government has been thrown into such an unbalanced economy... thanks to some of our higher ups...
I'm kinda relieved today is the election day, I hope the right guy gets the new job... and actually does what a man holding his position is saying to correct these economical mistakes...
good luck gaming,
Seph

I think the wii 3rd party developers are finally realizing to make a good quality game, but there are still some still making that craptastic game. People like High-Voltage put a lot of money to make The Conduit and they can't afford no upsets by the consumers. Also as a consumer I can't afford to go out and buy a game that I regret getting. I made that mistake 1 time too many. Even renting a game is a waste of money. Now I go by the statistics of word of mouth of how game is before getting if I'm supicious about it.

since the wii is havng a turn over 3rd party game prices will go down. I suggest buying used games as gamestop or gamecrazy sells them at lower price this way you can get more games with our paying with an arm and a leg especially with xmas coming up. Remember ToS wii is coming and that DSI is coming soon. also if you want to buy a new system get it used.

Don't get a 360 used >.<
Their warranty's only last a year, and techinically you could call microsoft and register the box you got to your name but if they registered it before selling it... or it's passed its 1 year warranty... I believe that's called flushing money down the toilet
