Wii Channels don't seem to come around very often. At least, that's how I feel. The only channels the North American Wii consoles have are the EVC, CMO, Mii, News, Weather, Photo, Wii Speak, and Nintendo Channel. That is a grand total of eight Wii channels.

Of course, I still use these channels. I still have the urge to make a Mii sometimes to go for the Check Mii Out challenges. I still toy around with the Everybody Votes Channel and like waiting for the results. Heck, I visit the Nintendo Channel every Monday and like putting pics on the updated Photo Channel. But, it just seems like Wii channels are too far away from each other.

I am aware of something the Japanese Wii owners have that is like a video channel. To me, that channel seems pretty interesting. And although some may not find use with it, the Mii horescopes seem ok as does the TV guide.

Are we ready for a new Wii channel, though? How long has it been since we got the Nintendo Channel? How long do you think it takes to make a Wii channel? When will a new channel come for our Wii?

I'd like more of them. I like Everybody Votes, too. But I really don't use them anymore cause they serve no real purpose to me. But sure, why not.

Yeah, I would like to see a few more channels on the Wii. I don't often use the channels there are now, but it's always nice to have another one to go and visit every now and then.

If they were to come out with a new channel, I hope that they would make it something useful. The channels that are out there now serve no purpose to me (except for the Shop Channel).

yeah, I only use like 3 or 4 channels as of now...

and some are just bad..."Everybody Votes"?
I havent used that since 2007...
thankfully it was FREE

I don't care that much, the Nintendo channel is really the only one I bother with anymore, and even this is rarely.

The DVD channel idea would be nice, I admit, but until Nintendo makes some Wii channels that are actually relevant to gaming, I can't see myself downloading any more, because the others are just pointless and do nothing but take up perfectly good memory that could be used for epic VC games.

I like the idea of a DVD channel...But I dont see that in the near future... I want them t oupdate the mii, and Wiishop s owe can buy things for our miis. Like new hairstyles, and other things... And.....they should actually give us GOOD VC games, not just the shovelware they try to call wiiware.

Yes they need a new channel. The only one that I use now is the Nintendo channel, but would love to have like a video channel. Or a movie channel like everyone says. All we have to do is wait, I'm sure Nintendo is working on somthing as we speak.

I'd love to see the DVD channel happen sooner or later but how great would it be if there was a MUSIC CHANNEL: you could upload music from your IPod etc and mess around with them just like the DSi sound application.

Yeah, and remove vocals to do kareoke, and if you want just the instrumentals to a song, you can do that, etc. Yeah, that'd be kool.
