GAME Stealing our consoles?!

This afternoon i went to my local GAME store and took a booklet of their trade in values and guess what i find? Very Very Very low trade-in prices for our consoles!!!

Take a look:

Xbox 360:
Elite £90
Pro 60GB: £75
Pro 20GB: £60
Arcade: £45
Core: £40

PS3:
80GB: £110
60GB: £130
40GB: £100

Ps2 Slim: £20

Nintendo Wii: £60

PSP:
Slim: £45
Fat: £40

Nintendo DS:
Lite: £40
Fat DS: £20

These people are ripping the UK For their games!

I totally agree with you. I went into game and bought a pre-owned copy of Metroid Prime 3 for £30 then went into my local Asda where they had new copies for the same price. Con-artists! Also I read that for Guitar Hero 3 on wii, they're trade-in value is £36.

Yea Gamestop over here has pricing like that too, they are a total ripoff. I usually use a local game store over here that I also am friends with the owner. He still is all about the business but he gives good and fair values for games and systems. This is the reason why I do so much research on what I buy that way I never want to trade it in for something else and loose lot's of money on the deal.

Nope its £30 + Guitar.. And its higher then the ps3 or 360 Version

Depends what part of UK.
I went to mine (UK) and they sold my Fat DS off me for £45.
Dunno why.
It had a Triforce Decal on it.

That may be why, and the lite is just for White & Black they haven't priced the other colours

Go to Gamestation to trade stuff in. I got like £15 per DS game, and they were all released over a year before.

If it's a newish game, it's like, the exact same price as a new one! How do you work that one out? O.O

You do find some gems occasionally tho. ^^
I got the limited edition Wind Waker game with OoT and Master quest bonus disc on Gamecube. Cost £40, but was worth it. Well, not really. x]

But that's what gets to me.
They must make a ton of money from used games/consoles, yet the prices of new games don't reflect that. You can nearly always find them cheaper at Asda or any other supermarket.
GAME sucks lol.
