Disaster: Day Of Crisis Nowhere To Be Found

By Spencer . October 31, 2008 . 1:54am

Nintendo posted a skeleton plan for 2009 and under the North America column the Play on Wii remake of Pikmin is there. Yeah! We don’t have a firm release date, but North America will get the Wii-make sometime in the future. Japan is scheduled to get the budget priced Pikmin port on December 25.

Nintendo of America also likes the Mario Tennis Wii-make since it’s in their future release schedule. You know what Nintendo of America doesn’t like? The Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat port and Disaster: Day of Crisis. Neither of these are in Nintendo’s plans right now. Things could change, but it doesn’t sound like Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime likes Disaster: Day of Crisis at all.

I have Disaster: Day of Crisis and visually, it’s unimpressive. The voice acting isn’t grand either, but Disaster: Day of Crisis is a blast to play. I wonder if all of the swearing is another reason why Nintendo isn’t jumping on releasing Disaster: Day of Crisis in North America even though an English version is out in Europe. About every other line Ray yells “****” and he isn’t censored like Barret. Obviously, Nintendo of America isn’t going to invest in dubbing the game over and releasing if Nintendo released it here it would probably get a M rating for language alone.

first they cancel project h.a.m.m.e.r. and now this....
was actually sort of looking forward to Disaster ;/

can't wait to play Pikmin on Wii though

at least we finally get an honest answer form Reggie. And his he saying the "f word" or hell? that would be kind of brutal if a NINTENDO game said that word every other line.
