Resident Evil 4 Wii edition or Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles

What do you prefer I have just got both of the games as it was my birthday on 4th november.

First of all the game play in Resident Evil 4 Wii edition is the best in my view as the camera position, controls and stunning graphics for the Wii is amazing also the story and structure of the game is really good and even if you have never played a Resident Evil game before you can really pick it up also this game was release May 31, 2007.

Now on to Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and to be honest I don't like the gameplay as you can not move round freely it is like the Sony Play-station game Die Hard it has the arcade side to it and also you can not refill your health when you want and also this was released November 13, 2007 so as you can see by the dates Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles is like the 5th Resident Evil.

So what one would you rather have personally I prefer Resident Evil 4 Wii edition.

Well, since i have the limited edition of RE IV for the PS2, I'd prefer to have the Umbrella Chronicles title instead.

Besides, I could always borrow RE4Wii from my friend.

i prefer RE4. RE:UC is fun and all but can get boring pretty quick. the mercenaries game in RE4 is killer. to bad they didnt make it wifi compatible. anyone who owned RE4 for the GC or PS2 will not regret picking it up for the wii.

yup i prefer RE4 its a great game. Well Umbrella Chronicles its ok but its lack of something that RE4 has dunno wat but UC is missing something

What Mars said. RE4 had loads of replay value, "The Mercenaries", "Ada's mission" etc, I played this game a lot. UC really wasn't that great IMO, played it, beat it, been back in the box ever since....

I just got these 2 games for my birthday but to be honest Res UM is not that good as I said before but I agree with most of you here it does lack gore and suspense.

So what do you think about my little review or comparision?

Umbrella Chronicles is, in my opinion, only good if you have a friend to play along with. Or even using two wiimotes by yourself, but that's hard to effectively pull off. It is what it is: a solid rail shooter with quite a bit to offer.

I prefer it for the story, myself.

Well I looked at both I'm gonna......have to go with The Umbrella Chronicles :P Seems more interesting than teh Wii Version of It.

UC is like a shoot them up sort of gme and I dont really like the way it is I like to move around freely instead of the computer taking over the controls.
