The best videogame bodyguards

So I'm kinda into those pick your top five things on facebook and I did one for the top five video game bodyguards I'd like to have. So I figured it would be fun to see how the rest of you on wiipals answer. So just list the top five characters, what game they're from and why.

1. Big Daddy (Bioshock): Uh, duh... his job is to protect children and he does it WELL.
2. D.O.G. (Half-Life): A big friendly robot... "dog"... He was designed to protect Alyx Vance. Not only is he good at that but he plays games too. :]
3. Skorge (Gears of War 2): Well he serves as the guard and General for the locust queen. And most people would piss their pants when that thing comes after them with a chainsaw staff...stick...thing...
4. Voldo (SoulCalibur): Alright, he's a little creepy but he was entrusted to guard a massive cave of treasure. If he can guard treasure I figure he can guard a person.
5. Frank West (Deadrising): He constantly serves as the rescuer of survivors in a zombified mall. He may not always do it well, but when he tries they live. And those survivors are STUPID. If they can live, I should have no problem.

chad (bleach)- his arms are meant to protect
hulk (hulk)- Massive and on steroids
Goku (DBZ)- Kicks everyones butt

Bowser (Mario) - Powerful?
Mario (Mario) - Powerful...
Donkey Kong (Donkey Kong) - Powerful.

Duke Nukem (Duke Nukem) - Knows how to kick ass.

Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) - Same as above.

Toad (SSB Melee/Brawl) - Knows his place. I can stick him in front of anything, and he'll take it. Bullets, cars, mountain lions, knives; You name it.

CyberDemon (Doom) - Built in rocket launcher? Taller than a two-story building? Hired!

Tyrannosaurus Rex (Turok) - Pet dinosaur, lol.

1. Ike - he fights for his friends
2. D.O.G. - he was awesome
3. The Swordsman - He's from Red Steel 2, game's not out yet, but he still looks badass.
4. Samus - kicks butt
5. Travis Touchdown

1)Astaroth--Soul Calibur 2: he's HUGE!!
2)Donkey Kong: Who wouldnt want a HUGE Ape as a bodyguard, plus he works for bananas
3: Captain Falcon:--Why do you think?
4:The Koopa Kids: Why have ONE, when you can have all 7?
5:Samus: cause she's HOT, and would kick someones ass if you asked her to

2. Doom 3 Marine - Licensed to kill
3. Gordon Freeman - Historic Surviver/Gunner
4. Quake 3 Sarge - Mercenary with the epic cigar.
5. Left 4 Dead Survivers - They know how to whip some ass and survive

1. Me! Who would be a better bodyguard than Dimentio? The loyalty, you ask? Strange minds think alike, it wouldn't be an issue.

2. Samus Aran: The most reliable of bounty hunters, with a great sense of justice and righteousness. And a nifty suit of armor

3. Mamma Mia from Fire Emblem: A skilled swordsperson, no doubt. And her care-free demeanour is a bless.

4. The ever-so beauteous Duke of Tanas, Oliver (also from Fire Emblem): The mere radiation of beauty perishes every fiend and foe who dares to approach! The bon vivant won't let me down, for sure.

1. MegaMan Zero (MegaMan X/Zero) - There must be someone badass.
2. Garr (Breath of Fire III) - He's awesomeness. Plus he's a Guardian so he knows how to do the job already.
3. Saki Omokane (Quiz Nanairo Dreams/Capcom's Vs. series) - She's part of the freakin' Earth Defense Force!
4. Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) - Ninjas = Awesome
5. The Weighted Companion Cube (Portal) - Obvious reasons.

5. Kintaro from Mortal Kombat II. Whats more threatening than a giant 4 armed man looking down on you with his red eyes? A giant scary 4 armed man staring down at you through crimson eyes, COVERED IN SPIKES!

4. Blastoise. A Blastoise is the potent combination of a turtle and a TANK! He could take a nast hit, and he has BAZOOKAS.

3. The Goda Ninjas from Tenchu Z. I mean really, a great body guard is the one thats right behind you... With a sword.

2. Aggro from Shadow of the Colossus. I know what your're thinking but hear me out, he'd charge a monster for you, and he climbed back out of a river after a bad fall just for you. Thats the true spirit of a bodyguard, but he's still a horse. So just number 2.

1. Has to be the Big daddy. He was genetically altered and MADE to be a bodyguard. What could possibly beat that? I can't not agree with you on that one.
