Gamecube. The GC was my first Nintendo home-console and I fell in love with games such as Super Mario Sunshine, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Battalion Wars, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Smash Bros Melee: the list is endless!

Judge a console by its games, and with that, SNES wins by far...

Super Mario All Stars/Super Mario World, A Link tithe Past, Donkey Kong Country, Super Metroid, Street Fighter2, great RPGs like Chrono Trigger, so many fantastic games that paved the way for the industry we know now.

Was tempted to say N64, for Ocarina of Time alone, but overall, not as good as SNES.

Gamecube had a few fantastic games, but no third party support, and Wii is not looking good so far, with a fair few good games, but very few true greats.

So far my favorite console is the wii because it gives us Flashbacks with the old school gaming consoles and more for me the wii is one of the best consoles I ever got.

N64. Mainly because it had alot of great games and it also had pretty good graphics. And they had one of the games that was dubbed *The best game ever made* That game is of course The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

I agree with this! I used to LOL and still do all the Castlevania games LOL

The Wii, as it has lots of games that I like and also games from other consoles.

Easily the N64.

It had the best games I've ever played, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Goldeneye 007, Super mario 64, and so on. The graphics still hold up to the Wii, they aren't the best, but they're easily livable. The controller, I'll admit isn't the best, but it's easy to get used as well if you play it long enough.

And of course, with what most everyone else has said so far, the nostalgia. I've played that console for so many hours, it's consumed months and years of my life, and I don't think any system in the future is going to be able to do that as well as the N64 did.

Definately the Super Nintendo for me. In fact the MAIN reason I bought the Wii was to download rare Super Nintendo games like Super Mario RPG and Secret of Mana.

SNES is a great system as well--it gave us the basic design for the Controllers that MOST systems use today...

plus the games on SNES were so memorable
