I'm not really sure. I like the N64, but the Gamecube better, and it's a tie between gamecube and wii. The wii has great first party games and online, while the gamecube doesn't have online, but it has great third party games.

Honestly, I do believe it's the Wii. You can play the newest games, yet, also play games from the past on there. Such as Gamecube games, or, you can download VC games, not to mention actually having a menu, and extra features. Most important console? I'd have to say the NES. It kind of started everything out.

Nintendo 64 of course! =D Heck if I still had some of the games today for the 64 (and had a 64... or some wiipoints lol) I would continue to play those games today. the N64 brought nintendo to the age of 3-D graphics I believe which made playing very exciting. Turok, Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64.... good games ^_^

I'm going to say SNES. The games are timeless.

N64. I grew up with it and it has the most memorable games in my opinion. Sure, you can play N64 games thanks to the Virtual Console, but it isn't the same. The N64 has a sort of atmosphere to it. I love it. I still play it today. Hands down the best.
Runner-up would be the DS because it is, in my opinion, the best portable console ever made. |

SNES easily won me over, mostly because of the Megaman X series and the Street Fighter 2 games that started me off as a fighting game freak.
And of course, the other aforementioned games like SMW, Super Metroid, Super Mario Kart, Chrono Trigger, DKC series, F-Zero, Yoshi's Island.... The list goes on and on. On a side note, did anybody happen to play Toy Story on the SNES? That game was ridiculously difficult, and I even had to go as far as using the invincibility glitch just to get through the whole game. |
