Why no Mario Football?

Don't get me wrong, I know Nintendo is doing extremely well sales-wise, and I'm just speaking as a gamer. What they're doing is extremely frugal for them, but at the expense of the people who remained dedicated to them over the years. I don't expect them to change just because some people like me dislike the quality of games they're producing. This industry is about money making, and since they're doing extremely well now, why should they stop what they're doing?

Yeah, and Nintendo really does need to go back to the basic two games that have made its franchise thrive Zelda and of course Mario games, then Nintendo would make even more money then it is right now... and by make more of those games I'm meaning that they actually need to do new story lines and stuff like that. When they continuously make mario games deal with sports that is something that is experimental... but it has obviously not worked out so far. ( by that I mean it has obviously left a lot of people wanting more out of their gaming experience)

and I'm not worried either.
Nintendo's financially secure--and I know that they're mainly now focusing on the BIG games due for this year....
But if they DID release a game w/ EA--that WAS Football(NFL-style) based, i know it'd sell SOME copies..

you'd get NFL fans, Mario fans, and average gamers too, wanting to atleast try the game...

Fact: Nintendo couldn't give a damn about what you think as a single person.

Might be a little harsh, but let me go on anyway. Even if it's not just you (cause it isn't) the amount of people can't compare to the people who would buy the gimmicks. In the end, whether you like it or not Nintendo will probably get money for creating Mario sports, Party, Kart, and all.

For the record, I was referring to the general people who complain about all the gimmicks Nintendo do.

Hee... don't be so sure though they have manage to dig up quite a few characters just for Mario Baseball... they even dug into the Kongs for the Wii sequel. I'm sure if Nintendo wanted to they could pull it off. Plus they could reduce the numbers of people on a football team if they wanted to...

Nintendo probably is just waiting for someone to say something about it? So I think they may come out with it in two years or so.
