This is a forum where a general discussion about anything (apropiate enough, of course) occurs, that is non-related to world of videogames. We also have a few sub-forums here, but we will discuss on how to post threads on this section in general. Here are a few guidelines that you should follow so everyone can have a good time while on here.

1. Do not spam.
Well this rule applies to every forum, but in Anything & Everything it tends to happen more because in here everything can be discussed, and some persons extend the meaning of that "everything" and post pointless threads. Please, remember to post good quality threads that can offer a good discussion topic.

2. Do not post adult content.
In this site there's also a younger audience, so please be considerate and don't post things that you wouldn't want your own children to see.

3. No politics or religious debates.
Posting polls or even news about these topics are fine, but creating a debate will normally generate a flame war because we normally don't agree with other persons' point of view. Do not create threads that discuss these topics because we don't want anyone offended about their politic or religious differences.

4. Do not plagiarize.
In this forum it is also permited to post news, articles, etc. But sometimes people forget giving credit to the author of the article, and this can result in some legal problems. If you post something of this nature, remember to post the source of where you found it or, at least, give the author the credit of the article.

5. This or that questions...
It tends to happen a lot on this forum. People sometimes feel the random urge of posting this kind of threads, like "McDonalds or Burguer King" or "Blue or Red" which don't generate a discussion topic at all. So to resolve this, a thread on the Forum Games was created, which is called "This or that?". In here you may post those kind of questions.

6. The search feature.
This is the forum in which this problem happens the most. Normally when we feel like posting a thread, in most cases a thread sorrounding the same topic was already created. Anytime you want to create a new thread, remember to use the Search feature to avoid your thread from getting locked and to give the staff less work. :]

7. How do I report a thread?
From time to time inapropiate threads, threads that were already created or advertisements appear. In case this happens there's a report button (it has the shape of a red and white triangule with a "!") located on the bottom left corner of every post. If you press it, all the staff of that specific forum will recieve a notice about the post, and so they will try to delete the post as soon as possible.

Also you can try to contact the staff personally and tell them that please lock, move or delete the topic. The staff in charge of moderating this forum are:

If you opt for this method then remember to contact only one staff member, because I'm sure that it should be annoying to go to the thread mentioned and find it already locked.

A third method is to inform in that thread a reason of why it should be locked and hopefully a staff member will see, and take care of the rest.

If you ever want to report a thread, you can use any of these methods.

There are also two sub-forums for the Anything & Everything section, which are: "Forum Games" and "Role Playing Forum".

Forum Games is a forum dedicated to well, forum games, like "Rate the Avatar and Sig above you" or "NW Dating Service". And everyone is allowed to play these games. Check here for more information about the Forum Games.

The Role Playing Forum is a place where you can freely post any type of role-play. In case you don't know, role-play is the action of assuming other's life and change normal behavior to "act" as other person, animal, etc. which can be either real or fictional.

Remember if you have any doubts, post your questions and doubts on this thread or feel free to ask any staff member.
