Obama is a really great person; I think he deserved it.

I don't think he deserved that award at least not yet he has hardly made any impact and all he talks about is what he is going to do also he hasn't been in office that long I'm surprised he got nominated let alone win it in such a short time.

The political setting in my country isn't the Democrats vs. Republicans. Such parties don't exist here.

Therefore I'm no Democrat, nor a Republican.

Now that I opened the chest of words, I'd like to add that the more I think of it, the more I myself wonder... Perhaps the award was given to Mr. Obama based on what he isn't instead of what he is?

What I mean is that Obama has clearly differentiated himself and his government from the previous one, lead by a certain G. Bush

Thus, this prize is a way to encourage Obama to continue what he is doing and intends to do.
